I think I got this crafting shit down, (Red=Bad, Yellow=Not as good as white but decent, white=best, multicolor=50/50.... yeah?) but unable to tell the significance of the sparks. Do they have one? They seem to never change with /wait once I get them, and dont really notice what theyre doing.

You don't HAVE to use Crysta. It's a "currency" SE uses for their store and whatnot, was previously JP only.

It's just easier because you can by Crysta with pay-pal instead of that other scam like system they have going on.

Yes but to go through PayPal, you also have to go through another 3rd-party company, making for 4 total parties involved as opposed to 3 if you go through Click and Buy only.

PayPal option: You, PayPal, UltimatePay, SE
Click and Buy option: You, C&B, SE

I would think the more times the money changes hands, the larger a penalty would be applied to payment, if any like I read about in one of the other threads.

Yeah the NA CE version was pretty disappointing. Not sure the 8 days is really worth the extra cash. <_< Though I guess disposable income is disposable

I think they just correspond to your remaining durability. It always seemed to be that the lower my durability got, the fewer sparks I had. In my limited experience, your color breakdown sounds pretty accurate too.

Additionally, unstable = really bad, but you can often get it to go away with two or three waits (though I've tried 7 before out of curiosity and it wouldn't stabilize).

There's a drop down menu just above the buttons to select another language

The drop down menu at the top is language select, it just defaults to JP no matter what.

Just like it was in Beta by default, but somehow people find it hard to change the language setting by doing 2 simple mouse clicks (they rather run to the forums and make a complain topic about it ._. not talking about you of course, but I saw some of these and /facepalmed)

It's the same place you enter your official reg code for the game. "Select Service" I believe.

There's nothing involved with getting the FF11 bonus other than registering FF14 on the same SE ID has the one FF11 uses. The CE item and FF13 item (if you have the code) is applied the same place you register FF14. Select Service > Final Fantasy XIV > Add registration code.

That's been the question a lot of us have been asking since Beta, afaik you can't remap your arrow keys atm. I think some people said they remapped camera to their keypad but other than that I dunno.

You never could in any Final Fantasy game. You also can't set shortcuts for individual parts of the menu, like I for inventory. This is a Final Fantasy game. They want us using the classic menu, just like the good ol' days.

I've come to grips with that, as frustrating as it is. Someone here will probably praise it for offering "modern-age nostolgia~" or something.
