Doesn't that suck? Its like lol GG, nice try, you're only a couple off on multiple categories which could turn that 10-0 to a 8-2 or 7-3, something respectable, but it spits in your face with that 10-0.

Also: Seriously? 14 PIM combined for the whole week, both teams? Lady Byng competition? For fucks sake, I think I've had at least 1 player every week so far with at least 14+ PIMs. Keith Yandle had 12 PIMs alone tonight for me and my teams @ like 36 PIMs...

Pens look like a completely different team with Brent Johnson between the pipes.

No cheap goals off the first shot of the game.

Fleury's seriously let in the first shot of the game in like 3 of the 5-6 games hes played in. 1 of those we came back to win in, but goddamn does he need to get serious or he will legitimately lose the starting goalie job. Hes not going to get Halak'ed out of town, but its starting to shift from a "Its Fleury's job but Brent Johnson is the hot hand and we'll stick with him til he has a bad game" attitude to a "Its Brent Johnson's job until he plays his way out of it" attitude.

And Sepukku picks up his first win of the season, 6-3 over DoughtyDonuts!!!!! Ironically, his one chance at victory tonight was if his own hometown Kings got obliterated by Devils and my goalie stats got sunk by having Quick playing and his Brodeur getting his goalie stats up over mine.

How do we deal with guys on the IR? Does it let you pick up someone in their spot until they're reactivated, or are you just boned on that slot?

Was contemplating saying nothing, but there are IR slots on your team. While you have people in those slots you can pick up others to fill in during the time they are injured.

as a man who can wholeheartedly admit a gay-love for Giroux, I have to agree that he is not a superstar... yet at least. he has the potential for sure, and having the privilege of watching every game he plays in, he is loads better than any of you may think. for as small as he is, he is one of the strongest guys on his skates ive ever seen and his hockey sense is top-notch.

My #1 concern this year is that they sign him multi-year and get him locked up. (or whenever his entry level contract expires). he got off to a slow start last year and playing the third line didnt help much. but I say give him this year and next season and we'll see where he stands on the superstar totem pole.
