I love that literally nobody came to Simmonds defense. Apparently the LA Kings don't like black people either.

Yeah, it was doing the 2008-2009 season and the Kings had problems where they wouldnt come to each others aid. That changed last season in this season and now if anyone takes a run at anyone, all Kings on the ice step up.

Perfect exmaple last night, Ryan took a run at Doughty late in the game with the Kings up 8-1 and Simmonds and Kopitar ran over to make sure Ryan didnt try anything stupid.

If Simmonds did the ice nap, there would have been a scrum. He just toughed it out and skated off.

I'm liking our kids though - last year's 1st round pick Brayden Schenn:
