Mason was doing good in Columbus and I felt the main reason last year, they even had a shot at the 8th spot until the rest of the team decided to take the last month or two off.

Surely not Steve Mason. Last year was atrocious for him and was considered a massive sophmore slump. You must be thinking of two years ago. His stats last year:

20-26-9, 5 shutouts, .901 Save %, 3.06 GAA

2008-2009:

33-20-7, 10 shutouts, .916 Save %, 2.26 GAA

Before demolition begins on the Spectrum, fans will get another chance to collect any remaining souvenirs.

On Saturday, Comcast-Spectactor will open the arena for a "If You Can Carry It, You Can Keep It" event from 9 a.m. to noon. Admission is $25, which includes a commemorative Spectrum crystal, and access to the arena floor.

That was my point, how is that possible? If its not automatic, major non-fighting + game misconduct happens so frequently that it must be a once-a-season incidence.
