I do think one of the most interesting things to see will be how the young Finnish goalies do, Rask/Niemi/Rinne all had really strong years and you gotta think at least one of them is going to hit a slump, then there's Nitty as well.

Oh shit, when did Kyle Octomom get hurt?
More ice time for Schremp!
... incoming Maurice Richard trophy
Shoulder surgery, out for 2 months.
Did he get hurt by his own teammate like Streit did?
So that's 2 down, and you know DiPietro will get a hernia tying his skates during game 2, so they'll be down a goalie
Kinda late, but Montreal called Gionta captain. Personnaly I am really happy
Figures it's someone I draft, at least he's on the bench.
ahahahaha Montreal looks awful, 5-on-3 PP and they spend 30 seconds just passing it around without shooting, then fumble a pass and toss it out the offensive zone themselves. 1:15 of 5-on-3 and 0 shots on goal.
Gionta being named Captain is good. It would either be him or Cammalleri in my head.
Had they named Gomez Captain, I'd dis-own the team.
Having Cammalleri deal with all of the shit that a Montreal captain has to deal with instead of just worrying about scoring goals would've been a terrible idea.

Guess so
I'll tell ya, Toronto did not deserve where they ended up last season. MIND YOU they weren't a playoff contender by any means. But second last?
It wasn't that our core group was godawful. What killed us the most was goaltending. Gustavsson was supposed to share more of toskala's workload, but they both played second string. It was crap like this all season long. Laugh it up, here's another
Lowest save% of any starting goalie in the league? We literally could not make any mistakes, because there was no one in between the pipes to save the defense. With decent goaltending we should have placed near the middle of the pack.
What do Michael Jackson and Vesa Toskala have in common?
Both wear a glove on one hand for no real reason.
Both have dead careers.
List goes on...
holy shit lol watching this 5'5" guy on Buffalo trying to pull people off of a scrum pile is hilarious
True, but who else is gonna be a leader in Montreal?
No offence, but they haven't had an on-ice, take charge kinda guy since Koivu.
Same as the Oilers dealing Smyth.
Just wait till Cammy starts thinking he is greater than the team.
I hope this Gerbe guy makes Buffalo's roster, he's fun to watch.
Overturned goal followed by a penalty, here comes the Canadiens fans bitching about NHL ref conspiracies before the season even starts lol
Slightly offtopic but does anyone happen to have an invite to nhltorrents.co.uk? I'm trying to find one for my friend, he's an avid Bruins fan but it appears that site is very private and rarely has public signups. Please PM on the offchance anyone has even heard of this site and has an invite to give out :D
