2-0 Habs, woot woot.
2-0 Habs, woot woot.
Wow, Braden Holtby is really bad.
Leafs 1 Stars 0.
Shot from the point, to grabovski, to Kulemin - A double tip-in
I want Theo back. If we had a solid backup we'd have at least three or four more points right now. Plus he's the second most handsome man in the NHL. I mean, he's no Sharp, but then again who is?
Spoiler: show
Pens 2 for 2 on the PP against one of the better PP defenses. Wtf.
Holy crap, is my phone telling me the right score? 5-0 NJ...against WSH???
Hahaha, Corey Perry, what a moron. That goal takes over the number 1 spot for major fuck up, behing Dan Boyle's goal last year in the playoffs.

You're right, but manly != handsome.
Stamkos has 87 goals and 67 assists in his last 129 games apparently.
That is a lot.
Also fuck you Tuuuuukkkkkka Rask, starting you was a mistake.
Damnit Habs, what are you doing?![]()
Stars looked absolutely disgusting tonight. What a joke. We suck so bad on the road. We're 1-27 on our road PP this year. That's under 4 fucking percent.. Crawford needs to be fired, because he doesn't know how to coach a road game for the life of him. This team absolutely shuts down when it loses the matchups. We just had to lose in front of Toronto too, with the Toronto media salivating over Brad Richard's UFA status this offseason like a piece of steak.
On the upside, woooo Rangers. Win at the Garden while in attendance is always so sweet.
154 points in 129 games is 1.19 points/game, Crosby has 144 points in his last 103 games (1.39 points/game), and yet that gets no mention....and don't even say "WELL HE HAS SO MANY MORE GOALS" cause Sid's got 0.64 goals/game to Stamkos' 0.67 and thats not even factoring in Stamkos' more empty net goals. Oh, and Stamkos.... doesn't kill penalties. Stamkos... not a league leader in faceoffs. Stamkos... not a captain. Stamkos... not a Stanley Cup champion.
Put it this way, here is Stamkos' awards/records section on Wiki:
Spoiler: show
Its nice and brief.... 5 awards (1 in the NHL), 0 records.
Here is Crosby's:
Spoiler: show
It literally does not fit on one page. You have to hit page down on a page with two columns to digest everything Crosby has achieved in his brief career. He has more NHL awards than Stamkos has OHL, CHL, and NHL put together. He has a Stanley Cup, he's scored an overtime Olympic Gold winning goal, he has almost a dozen NHL records. AND HES STILL GETTING BETTER.
Sidney Crosby is about to score his 200th goal already. He's barely 23. He already has 541 points. He's barely 23. Crosby, with no wingers and playing in an era where people score less, has 541 points in 393 games which gives him 1.38 points/game, which would leave him 3rd among the top 50 NHL point producers of all time behind, you guessed it, Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky.
But hey, lets all applaud Steve Stamkos for scoring the same stupid ass PPG that eventually teams are going to take away from him.
I think people are so accustomed to Sidney Crosby's talent that they actually forget just how good he actually is. Gretzky himself said Sid probably would've outscored all his records if he was playing in the same era that Gretzky did. And he just keeps getting better which is the most disgusting part.
He's become a shootout expert (5th in career shootout goals, and, more importantly, 1st in Game Deciding Shootout Goals by 2 over 2nd place).
He's become a faceoff expert (Led the league in Faceoff wins this past year, T-1st with Toews this season as of this morning, and as testament to his faceoff skills and leadership, Mark Letestu of the Penguins is leading the league's rookies in faceoffs/faceoffs%).
He's become a much more prolific shooter instead of just being a playmaker (his 17.3 shooting% last year edged out Stamkos' 17.2, and compare this to AO who has never shot even 15% in any season of his career. He currently is shooting 17.5% this season)
He kills penalties regularly now. He just gets better, and better, and better...
Sep everyone knows how great Crosby is. Stamkos is getting accolades because he's 3 years younger than Crosby and looks like he'll turn into the next superstar to challenge Crosby and Ovy. Considering his rookie season was pretty lackluster its exciting to people.
