The Kings had goals taken back earlier this season for the same reason. Goalie was bumped slighty as the puck was being shot and they took the goal away. You can screen, but you arent allowed to make contact with a goalie on your own (IE player from the other team pushing the player into the goalie)

If they call it one way, they need to call it that way.

I know, really late. I didn't actually see the goal you're refering to in the LA/MON game so I'm not defending it. Just the rule is, if the goal goes in, even if it was due to goal tender interference. If there wasn't a call or intent to whistle down the play the goal stands they can't disallow it. I don't necessarily agree with the rule but that's the way it is. The only things to my knowledge that can disallow a goal during a review are if it didn't clearly go over the line (duh,) high stick, or if it was kicked/thrown in.

I think, if anything, Gomez was just standing at the edge of the crease and was in the way of the goalie, more than a physical move on the goalie.

Ducks up on Chi 1-0, Koivu shot from the point and a tip by Sexton. Chi had the better chances in the first, but Hiller's been playing really well for Anaheim.

Just killing time until the leafs play buffalo. We've got back to back winnable games for us, it's a good chance for us to grab some needed points after the slump at the start of the month.

EDIT: Chicago, shorthanded, Sharp whips across the line and goes cross ice to Keith, his one-timer juuuuuust trickles through the 5 hole. Toews crashed the net just for good measure, but the goal might go to Keith anyway.
