Not to change subject, but check out this bush league move by Cammalleri. PK Subban probably taught him this shit... Hope Camm gets suspended for it.

Like spears him in the chest, follows him around in a circle not even looking to make a hockey play, just cross checking him repeatedly, and then slashes him in the back of the heel, injuring him. Neiderriter left the game and did not return and Cammalleri was given a 5 minute slashing major and thrown out of the game.

Sprained knee in practice, 4-5 weeks. Leddy will get a spot to start, assuming they'll roll with Keith/Seabrook, Hjalmarsson/Leddy, and Scott/Hendry the first game with Boynton out, then Keith/Seabrook, Boynton/Hjalmarsson, and Scott/whoever plays best between Leddy/Hendry

Every team will lose if Osgood is behind them. If Holland re-signs him after his contract expires this season I will spontaneously combust in rage.

Also Cammalleri was a huge bitch with the antics he pulled, looked like a grade schooler hitting the guy with his stick. If you're pissed at least drop your gloves or make more physical contact than a little shoulder bump. I hope he gets suspended for a few games as well, although I doubt it will happen.

To all the Caps fans, I've been trying to find out who they're thinking of putting on 2nd line centre. I know at the beginning of camp they were saying it was Fleischmann's to lose, but I keep hearing noise about Johansson and Perreault. Any local chatter which way they're thinking of going? Just looking for some secondary scoring for my fantasy team. Thanks guys~

Perreault has been talked about a lot, and written about a lot. Flash is way too damn streaky, so that 2C really is his to lose. I'm willing to be that Perreault spends some time as 2C due in part to strong play by him, and Flash going streaky. As far as I know, 2C is still Flash's. Also, Flash tends to respond to getting benched rather well in terms of points.

What'd Boogaard do? I saw he scored the other night, guess he's making $1.7m per goal, even if it's pre-season. Him and his bro run a fighting camp in the summertime... not a hockey fighting camp, just straight up fighting.

Kings have trimmed their roster down to 24. Looks like it will come down to either Loktionov or Schenn being sent down unless the Kings place Parse on IR and choose to keep both up for now.

4th line is looking really good this year. Looks like they are more offensive but can throw some bodies around.

As of right now, I think the 2nd line will be Laich-Fleischmann-Semin. Flash hasn't overly impressed in camp but I think they're going to give him some time during the regular season to see if he can bring any sort of consistency and get better at faceoffs. Perrault and Johansson are vying for 3C right now, whoever loses will probably be in Hershey getting ice time, rather than turning them into a checking line forward. Whoever makes the team will also get opportunities between Chimera and Fehr. Depending on how deep your league is, I'd say the best cheap scoring opportunity on the Caps right now is Fehr. He's a Knuble injury away from getting top minutes 5-on-5 and on the PP.

Caps lose their last preseason game yesterday, 3-0. First (and last) loss, but all the goals came against Sabourin who will likely be a backup in Hershey. Can't wait for the real deal to start, it needs to be Friday already.
