Great to see the Hawks come back from the Circus Trip on a strong note, this is where their season turned around last year, so hopefully they keep up playing the way they did the last two games.

Shit, I just saw Modano is out indefinitely after a tendon in his wrist was severed yesterday vs the BJs. Umberger's skate came up and hit him in the wrist, that sucks ass that he got an injury like that from a freak accident.

In slightly better news, Wings prospect Tomas Tatar tied the single-game AHL scoring record today with 7 points, 2 goals and 5 assists.

Edit: Was watching the San Jose / Edmonton game and laughed my ass of at the beginning when Weekes almost got run over by a zamboni. Even better was Ron Maclean taking a shot at Weekes goaltending ability at the end.

The old gloves are pretty awesome though, my dad used to use them when we would play hockey. They go about halfway up your forearms and feel like gigantic oven mitts.
