Well, woooooooooooo! Five straight wins, still atop the Pacific. Huge win and litmus test for the Stars. Even if that would have been a goal to tie it up, in the end Dallas hung with the best in the league and didn't look out of place. Refreshing to see.

As I said, despite the final 10 seconds of that game, it was a well played game on Dallas's part to shut down the Caps top line and roll with them offensively. Gotta give the Stars credit for their play lately.

There were like 10 separate times where the Caps could have scored, I was crazy-impressed with the Stars' D. Also I really, really like their announcers, they are fucking great.

Just got home from my parents house. Dad was speechless about the game, which doesn't happen often. Just a fuckton of good chances and one lousy goal. Eric Fehr can suck a dick. And even though Knuble scored on a nice one-timer, dude's been sucking all year. BB keeps juggling the fucking lines, no consistency. Oh and Poti was out with another phantom injury. Not going to get into the disallowed goal because it should never have gotten to that point. Gotta hand it to Raycroft though, dude was amazing tonight.

Bruins/Kings now saying that Sturm for a draft pick is off, or more accurately that it was never on in the first place. Bruins still need to make $3.1m in cap space and he's the only one who makes something around that(3.2). Not sure if they're just saying that Sturm isn't going to get traded, or just not in this particular deal, since I'm not sure what other solution they'd have to make room for him to come back.
