No free rides in the Sutter household lol
Looks like Schenn, Loktionov, Muzzin, Clifford all make the team to start the season. Couple with Westgarth and Lewis, the Kings have 6 rookies on the roster. Those 6 players have a total of 22 NHL games between them.
Make that 7 rookies. Parse is still considered a Rookie, lol.
it needs to be thursday already :/
I wanted to give you an update on the rumblings in the hockey media here. As I was driving home from work yesterday, I heard on the radio a comment about Marcus Johansson from George McPhee (I believe that's who they quoted). Regardless, it stated that Marcus Johansson is further along than Nicklas Backstrom was on the same age.
Also, Perreault was sent to Hershey and Johansson made the team.
Oilers named Horcoff Captain
inc 0-82
lol
Carey Price has the flu and will likely miss the first game, inb4 Auld taking over the #1 spot within 10 games
I'd take Price as the goalie here in Edmonton for the youth movement.
Gets him out of the microscope in Montreal, and it'd be like a fresh start. Nobody is expecting you to be the next Roy or Dryden by 23 years old.
Besides, Carey at his worst would be better than Drunkybulin in net.
Don We Now Our Gay Apparel
One. More. Day.
Souray sent on loan to Hershey rather than Edmonton's farm team, at least he'll be in some sort of playoffs for a change if he stays healthy
Don Cherry is such a boss, he's my hero. I wish to dress like him in my old ages.
Anyone down to boost some NHL 11 trophies? I'm getting really angry at Come Back King... I've lost about 20 games trying to get that stupid trophy.

Wtf? The Penguins demoted Eric Tangradi to the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL. That makes no sense at all.
Maybe WBS is full? I know there's a limit to the number of total player contracts NHL teams are allowed to have regardless of what level they're currently playing at, there may also be a limit for AHL teams?
I looked at this and said WTF and then theorized the following possibilities:
--Some sort of waiver stipulation they're going to exploit with him.
--He has a bad attitude and partied a lot and this is a wake-up slap.
--He was taking his NHL-ness for granted and was being lazy and this is a wake up slap.
I don't know about the attitude. The guy was thrilled about making the team. I just don't see him running around with an attitude.
Every interview they had with him he seemed extremely humble. There has to be something more to this.
He refused to let the rookie hazing (Let Sidney ass fuck him then bust a nut in his nose) take place.
