Oh here's a good one. Our players must have been quite a surprise when they hit the ice

and some odds and sods
-Mike Komisarek only played 9 minutes. Ruh roh.
-Nazem Kadri played 18 minutes including four on the powerplay. He played the majority of his even strength minutes with Tyler Bozak. He made a hell of a pass to Tomas Kaberle to help set up the 4-3 goal. NOT TOTALLY USELESS
-The Mikhail Grabovski - ClarkeMacArthur - Nikolai Kulemin line had three goals, three assists and was plus six. Goddayummmm
-The player most often out against that line? Defensive juggernaut Mike Green. Whoops.
-The Leafs got nuked in the face-off circle. 57-43 is not good.
-Francois Beauchemin and Keith Aulie drew the Alexander Ovechkin assignment. Aulie told AM640 that his confidence was soaring after the Bruins game because of the responsibility he was handed. How did he look tonight?
First point - Green had a pretty good game. Carlson actually looked a bit too aggressive a couple times, and Poti was caught out of position on at least one goal that I saw.
Second point - is that a serious question? Beauchemin looked bad I thought. Schenn seemed to be out in all the key situations anyway.
What, no love for the Toronto Byfugliens?
Green was there, oh yes, but I did not notice him very much. Though to be fair, I was trying to watch the leafs "first line" (RW fingers).
Dunno about beachemin, but it was Aulie who gave Ovechkin too much leeway on his goal. To be fair, he has two players to cover on the wing, but give Ovechkin room to shoot... (I actually found the points off a blog. Wasn't really my question >.>)
Schenn was doing yeoman's work when he was out there. Komisarek stunk it up, though. 4.5 Million for that 9 minute performance... thank god the cap's going up.
FUCKTARD AND MITCHEL HEALTHY SCRATCHES. GOOD! KEEP THEM THAT WAY
Turco not starting in net against the Stars tomorrow...

oof, yeah that sucks, but I can't disagree. As much as I'd love to see that myself, now is really not the time for the Hawks to be fucking around and leaving possible points on the table by not starting their hot goalie.
Kaner I'm not as worried about, it does suck since he has been playing really well recently and Hossa is still gone, leaving them really thin at right wing, but the Hawks typically respond well when their big names get hurt, and their defense is still intact. Hoping to see Jeremy Morin get his first goal soon. They're kind of strapped for cap space atm though since noone who is out is on long-term IR, I don't think they have enough room to bring up 2 forwards, especially if one of them is Morin.
He was going backhand deke, to forehand mid-top shelf. Goalie didn't fall back into the crease, so open netter, right? But the Monster, with no options left, gets his stick in the way by just that much. It was enough to turn "just inside" to "just outside".
It was going in without that subtle tip
All set for TOR v PIT wednesday, just got my hands on some alus from HOME-COUNTRY
http://www.lithuanianbeer.com/images...rys_ekstra.jpg It tastes like if Molson Canadian was been brewed by germanic vikings for 230 years. It's like an easy-drinking english bitter. Gold medal european brewing champs in '01, 02, and silver in '04 Somebody even reviewed it. (You also get the most legendary burps ever ^^b)
LCBO doesn't list it in their database, but the Cloverdale Mall and Dundas&Bloor LCBO's (TOR) do carry it.
Which leads me to the question: What's your ultimate hackey drank?
http://vancouverbc.com/blogs/wp-cont...eizen-beer.jpg
Shit's expensive since I can only get it through private liquor stores but it's so worth it. Has a unique almost smokey taste due to the apricot added in. Everyone I've ever given one to has loved it.
The hell @ apricot beer?!
Also Cally, now is our chance to get called up, I'll get Rocky and Q on the phone.
Not so much hockey beer, but whenever I want a beer, I go with either Blue Moon, Kona Longboard, Haps lager, or if i'm feeling cheap, any of the staple coors, MGD, Bud beers. Corona no lime as well.
Regular season:
