Just as I thought Giguere could be a decent goalie, he loses the game off of two weak goals. Great job shitty goalie!

In his defense though, he made 4 or 5 spectacular saves before letting in those 3 in under a minute. Can't really blame him when the team in front of him played terrible defense. But yeah, Jokinen and Borky's goals were on the weak side.

And yes, while I am more than happy the Flames beat Toronto, we're still 4 points out of a playoff spot. I'll be happier when/if we catch up to the 10 (yes 10) teams that are all 4~6 points ahead of us. Fuck the West is tight.

Tough question. Ask Toronto, that could have easily been 10-1 Flames. Fuck Brett Lebda. Grabbo, Versteeg, and Giguere were okay. Until Giguere stopped being okay. But whatever, Fuck Brett lebda.

Best part of the game was the brawl in the stands, but the sole Leafs guy who got owned had more fight than the team did.

during the toronto game after Engelland fights Orr and they go into the intermission. during the speech from Byslma, the last thing he says on his way out of the locker room was, "come on D, lets have a good F3".

anyone have any idea what that means?

Not sure what that particular phrase means, the only thing I know F3 meaning is in his(and most newer) offensive system the forwards are no longer labeled as LW/C/RW, but are instead F1, F2, and F3, meaning 1st guy on the puck and then the 2nd and 3rd forwards into position, so their offensive role is based on when they arrive into the zone rather than their technical position.

To elaborate on what Callisto already said, he wants the D jumping up all the time, particularly Goligoski and Letang but no one's exempt, I've seen Orpik even bring the puck in and try to deke his way to the net. Pens D-core has the most points in the NHL because Bylsma always wants them activating, even if we have the lead.

I read that he's skating again and couple play this weekend. I thought it was weird they didn't place him on the IR when he went down, so maybe the injury wasn't as bad as initially thought?
