Interesting debate going on in the Pens game. I love this type of shit.

They're comparing Crosby's season to Gretzky's 212 point season.

Basically, the Oilers back then averaged 5.2 goals per game - Pens are averaging 3.1 now. That's insane.

Averaged out into Gretzky's era, Crosby would be on pace for 198 points.

ugh comparing stuff like that is just all-around retarded. Nothing's the same, the rules are different, the goalies are different, the difference in skill between the great and just good players is smaller so goals get spread out more. Not even comparable eras.

Two soft goals tonight :/ Glad I benched him and Howard on my fantasy team. Game was great despite shakey goaltending tonight. Detroit losing Datsyuk is pretty rough. Detroit still played well without him. If both teams are healthy in the playoffs it could potentially be the best series out of the west.
