INTENSE finish to the NYR-MTL game. Rangers come out flat and were horrible the first half of the game, then battled back valiantly in the last half. Very close in the end there. Price and Lundy were both amazing.

Dallas up 3-1 on Atlanta. Need this win as the Coyotes are surging and starting to knock on our door.

I'd be more concerned about the preds if they ever did something in the playoffs. The only difference between them and the sharks is people expected the sharks to get somewhere eventually, with the preds everyone was just surprised they were there. But hey the Canucks haven't gotten out of second round in 16 years either so I can't shit talk them too much.

They'll win a series eventually; were the closest to knocking out the hawks last year imo. Issue with the Preds is when they score first, they just turtle up and it's tough as hell to even it up. If they finish top four in the west, I see them getting to the second round. Do not want to play the Canucks this year in the first round... All that said, I love the Western Conference. Got NHL Central Ice this year and I can watch any western conference matchup and be thoroughly entertained,

Also Nick Lidstrom leading defenseman in scoring at 40 years old. Fucking ridiculous. A pity he's got a fairly bad +/- because even with it being a garbage stat it's probably the only thing stopping him from being a lock for Norris.

As far as I'm concerned, the flames and leafs started playing in the 3rd period with 10 min remaining and the rest was some NHL "Super Warmup Special Night". Grabbo's goal with seconds left was a beauty, but just couldn't hold on in the shootout.

Surprisingly, a distinct lack of Spinoramas were present.
