Holtby actually looked good tonight, a little nervous and twitchy maybe, but he made all the saves he had to. Ovechkin was more of the same, shots and passes off of shins and skates all night. Backstrom was excellent though. All six D-men played well, really liking the pairings. Don't hurry back from your injury, Tom Poti.

Yeah they mentioned it on the Caps broadcast. He was on blood thinners a couple years ago because of shortness of breath in his lungs. Looks like this is more serious.

Anyone catch the bogus goal by the Coyotes last night in the Coyotes-Kings game? There is picture proof that the puck was knocked in with a high stick. I wonder if they NHL is going to say they messed this one up, but I highly doubt it.

I love how the NHLs stance is that since they didnt SEE the puck hit the stick (which is bs) that they dont know if it was hit in with the high stick. So, the puck someone magically changed direction from going over the night, to into the net?
