Great interview with Gretzky. It's scary to think the year he scored 92 goals. the last 8 games he netted 0. The idea of 100 goals is not possible in today's area.

Quick question for you hardcore fans. When was the last time an entire division made the playoffs? The Pacific division has been so bottled up this year and all 5 teams are playing well. I know there are 30ish games left but I was just curious to know the last time an entire division made the playoffs.

Don't think it's happened since they did the whole division re-alignment. It would take quite a few miracles for that to happen as it is.

I think the most we have seen is 4? Everyone in the northeast made it last year but Toronto.

I think the closest that it has come to all 5 teams in a division making the playoffs was 2 seasons ago in the Central, only Nashville missed and they were 3 points out of a playoff spot. In the same year the Atlantic also sent 4 teams, though they also had the Islanders who were wayyyy back.

-Reimer, 22, was largely ignored over Rynnas and Gustavsson. So it's a surprise, like when you had 5 bucks in your wallet and "found it".
-In his first 7 NHL games ever, he's been .933. That's workable.
-Has Francois Allaire's style (other TOR goalies - raycroft, toskala, even gustavsson to an extent, had to be shoehorned in)
-The T-shirt is a one-of from a DIY co.

Yes, we have a goalie prospect. No, we probably won't trade him. It's been the first time in a long time where a position actually looks filled in the future. Giguere is dealable (if you can find a deal).

Last year you guys were talking about Gustavsson the same way. Toronto has a really bad track record of ruining young goalies' confidence by throwing them on bad teams too early and putting pressure on their shoulders, and ruining their careers.

So because Alex Edler is on IR for pretty much the rest of the season it now means the Canucks can bring Salo back without trading anyone.
