It still does not make sense. It is a horrible move to trade away a 20/20/40 player making 1.2 mil for a guy who hasn't managed to play more than 20 games in the NHL in a season prior to this year.

A) Skille was one of Tallon's draft picks so he probably likes him to begin with

2) He's probably going to burn the current roster to the ground and start over entirely over the next 2 years

EDIT: Every boston player has been hitting people, and everybody is trying to hit Subban. The Fans are cheering "U S A! U S A!" as if there were Americans on the ice.

Boston fans are a little smarter than that... it's in response to the fucking annoying "ole..." chant the Canadiens fans do.

Edit: Heard from folks at the game that a large amount of folks in red sweaters didn't bother to stand and/or remove thier hats during the American national anthem. Hence the USA chant.

I actually like the trade, as we get a center that will be either 2nd or 3rd line, and seems more talented than Skille, though it's sorta a bogus deal for Florida in terms of fairness. Was wondering when Tallon was gonna start pulling off trades to start rebuilding.

I also love Sharp, Toews, and Kane as a line. As that one shift went, granted yes it's Edmonton, but it was like a 5 on 5 power play lol, couldn't get the puck away from the Hawks.

With this Hawks team, I'm learning not to trust the "granted it's _____" line.

Hawks are 1-2 vs. Edmonton this year to boot. Rest of the Hawks schedule is all kinds of brutal, a shitty combination of away games against tough teams who aren't the ones they're trying to piggyback in the standings, so the wins do less and the losses hurt more.
