When I went there two years ago for the Hawks game it was like, "lets play every shitty pop song that no other arena plays" but I couldn't agree more. They play some terrible music there during whistles. Their one PA guy sounds super bored too, sounds like he's super old and announces last minute of plays, but speaks with a long drawn out, almost monotone voice.

He was from the games I saw, but he never stayed there. He was always creeping down and trying to get a backdoor goal, or just moving from point to faceoff dot along the wall.

Yes, but he would drift between point and circle. They overload a lot and look for backdoor plays. Ovie/Green/Backstrom/Semin usually play the full 2 minutes, with either Knuble or Laich in front.

Budd Lynch is 93, so yeah. I agree that the DJ plays some really corny shit though, some of it is clever in situations, but mostly it is pretty bad.
