Every game I watch is making me love my goalie tandem more and more. Just one game, I think Rask will do ok this year but maybe not quite as crazy good as his stats last year.

Yeah, I think both Rask and Price won't be bad this year, but Rask's number from last year are probably not reproduce-able, moreso when you consider that he will have a full workload this year.

As far as goalies to watch today, I'm mostly interested in how Halak does against Philly today and how Lubongo does against LA.

I should note first that I also missed that Flyers/Blues are also playing, but not on any national TV afaik.

Anyways:

Yotes/Bruins - Already decided it seems, lol
BJs/Sharks - Sharks, not really a fair matchup at all
Stars/Isles - Stars looked pretty good last night, and I think Isles are going to have a really tough time to start the season, combination of injuries, and, well, being the Islanders
Habs/Penguins - Pens are going to kill them as we continue to find out that last year was a fluke, and Montreal is really not all that good
Devils/Caps - Kinda torn here but going with whoever's first line steps up, ZIP line looked fucking nasty last night
Rangers/Sabres - Noone is going to watch/care one way or another, but I'll take Buffalo
Senators/Leafs - Versteeg scores 9 goals, Leafs win
Thrashers/Lightning - This game I really, really want to watch, wish it didn't overrun Hawks/Wings. I'll take Tampa to win but I think it'll be fun to see both teams.
Ducks/Preds - I uhh, idk, honestly if it wasn't for Flyers/Blues I'd say this is the worst game on slate for today, got Preds winning
Wings @ Hawks(!!!!!!!) - Game of the year, all years. Honestly as early as it is, I say whoever wins this game takes the division, baseless prediction.
Kings @ Canucks - Best game of the night, just for the throwback jerseys, Canucks win in a tight one
Flyers/Blues - Can't bring myself to care much about this game, Flyers looked good the other night but STL is probably still a cupcake I think.
