*Shutouts against the Pens without 87/71/14/10/15/3/19/45/26..... we're a little impotent right now.

Kind of reaching to negate shutouts against us when you have to resort to bringing someone up who's been out the whole season.
Yeah I actually had to look up who 19 was.
Half those other guys were in the lineup two weeks ago though.
Injuries are part of the game...deal with it
Speaking of getting shut out!
Zing!
Watching the highlights, some incredible saves by Fleury and Neuvy, and what a play on the Talbot breakaway by Carlson to lift his stick. Only six more hours til I get to watch the whole thing, yay.

fucking Turco lol...
Actually I meant Markov and Georges...but the fact Cammy and Gill are on first games back from injury and Wiz probably can only see out of one eye...still not making excuses tho ^_^
Yeah, all those reasons. Or Calgary's a better team.
Yeah, I wrote it. What?
Clinched playoffs in BG FHL. Bow to the master bitches.
I actually still had doubts about Fleury coming into this year. Those are pretty much gone. At the same time, let's not overlook how much our defense has played in that. It's amazing what happens when you have solid puck handling D's instead of a bunch of 6'5" bodies only there to clog up space.
Going back to the Leino/Steeg trade thing.
Never knew that you could not extend a player without having cap space in the current season.Leino agreed to postpone his ongoing contract-extension negotiations, so that the Flyers could spend their remaining salary-cap and tagging space to acquire Versteeg from Toronto. Leino will become a sought-after unrestricted free agent on July 1.
He knew that the Flyers have a better chance to hoist the Stanley Cup with Versteeg, a talented scoring winger, than without him. And he was able to table an offer from the Flyers, putting his own personal security and gain aside, for the betterment of the team.
"Those conversations are between me and [Paul Holmgren]," Leino said yesterday. "But obviously, we all want to win the Cup. That's my first priority here. And I think everyone else would feel the same way."

Hamhuis and Ballard are back in the line up tonight. Canucks are starting to look like an NHL team again. Let's see if we can embarrass Carey Price in front of his family again.
Incoming 3 game east coast trip for the Sharks. Detroit, then Pitt then finish it off in Calgary. 2 out of 3 should be doable. Tonights game is the only one that worries me.
