Fuckin' philly... go lose 4 in a row then. Lose to all the playoff contenders. That's the most fair thing to do.
Well I never expected to go undefeated through this thing. Boston has our pick this year, so there's no excuse for tanking. Stay comfortably out of the lottery, get a good run at the playoffs, I'll be satisfied. We can start by dismantling the Islanders - NO 1ST PERIOD SNOOZING, ya bastards
Apparently, after the third goal, there were some fans cheering Reimer when he let the next two in. Which, considering what he's done for the team the last few days, is a fucking embarassment.
If you sit in a silver seat at the ACC, you're not a real fan. Bottom line.

On a lighter note, Glenn Healy commentating fun:
Healy: "Last year, there was virtually no difference between Crawford and Niemi."
5 seconds of silence
Healy:"....Of course, Niemi won the cup".
What a tard.
Fuck You Corey Perry. Hate afternoon games. Pond is full of Canuck Nation yet again. Next season gonna have to follow the 'Nucks when they head to the east coast for a road trip. Chicago, Detroit, Minnesota?
How much to a Hawks game nowadays?
KoolAid man too. But ya it seems they only lose one goal games when they can't score, or they break the fuck out and blow out the other team. Such a weird dichotomy. When we're having trouble scoring though, I'm reminded of our 6.5million dollar captain sitting on IR eating our cap space. Seriously, fuck Drury.Man I feel for Palin, being a Rangers fan must be frustrating as fuck sometimes. Why don't they always play like this?
I'm kind of worried about the team's chances to make the POs still. Buffalo has 3 games in hand and doesn't seem to want to lose any of them. The devils have an EASY schedule the next 5 games, they easily can go 4-0-1 or even win all 5. I'm not content with this team making it at 8th.. despite today's blow out, we don't match up well with the Flyers. We would do best to get Boston IMO still.
They need to get through this whole "I forgot how to score" thing and win some more games before the season ends. Good thing we're going on the road soon! Against the Pacific as well. Works for both my teams if they beat the West.![]()
300-level nosebleeds run about $50 retail but there's no fucking way you can find them at face value, usually you can get them for $75, 200 level and lower is like, maybe if it's my birthday and g/f really doesn't feel like giving me a bj I may get a seat there but not something I could afford to just up and go to lol.
The year before the (Chicago) Winter Classic I went to a Hawks game and paid $75 for 2nd row lower bowl, on New Years Eve. Last year I paid the same to go to a NYE game and was in row 20-something in the 300s. Shit has exploded in value.
There was one good thing about that game...

If I apply for Leafs season tickets now, my grandchildren might get a pair.
When they're 68.
Yeah and I heard that the leaf tickets are the priciest tickets in the NHL
So James Mirtle does this awesome list every year where he looks at the standings and predicts how many points it will take for teams to make the playoffs. Right now he has the Eastern Conference teams needing 90 points to make the playoffs and Western Conference needs 96 points. Below is the record each team has to achieve in order to make the playoffs.
Note that the Islanders need to go 15-0-0 to make the playoffs (lol). Lot of teams in the mathematically possible position but quite a few are going to be unofficially eliminated pretty soon.
Eastern Conference (90 points)
1. Philadelphia - 2-15-0
2. Boston - 3-14-0
3. Pittsburgh - 3-12-0
4. Tampa Bay - 4-12-1
5. Washington - 4-12-0
6. Montreal - 5-10-1
7. Buffalo - 9-8-0
8. NY Rangers - 8-6-0
9. Carolina - 9-6-1
10. Toronto - 11-4-1
11. Atlanta - 12-3-1
12. New Jersey - 13-4-0
13. Florida - 14-1-1
14. NY Islanders - 15-0-0
15. Ottawa - eliminated (max 87 points)
Western Conference (96 points)
1. Vancouver - 1-13-1
2. Detroit - 5-11-0
3. San Jose - 7-9-0
4. Chicago - 8-8-0
5. Dallas - 9-7-1
6. Los Angeles - 10-7-0
7. Phoenix - 9-6-0
8. Calgary - 8-5-1
9. Minnesota - 10-5-1
10. Anaheim - 10-5-1
11. Nashville - 10-5-1
12. Columbus - 13-4-1
13. St. Louis - 15-1-1
14. Colorado - eliminated (max 94 points)
15. Edmonton - eliminated (max 86 points)

Nice list, that should keep people chewing on their fingernails.
What amazes me is how many Western teams still have to play better than .500 hockey in order to make it. Every team from 4th spot onwards need to keep winning or risk missing the playoffs.
I'm still not used to being able to sit back and just wait for the playoffs this early.
Edit: teams going to the playoffs in BGFHL have been set. Last week is now just to determine who faces who.
The western conference is way way over .500 against the eastern this year.
Also the fastest way for Toronto to win a cup would be to put a team in Hamilton.
I would love a Toronto VS MTL playoff in any round but we all know that it will maybe never happen in decades.
Also NJ might do the best comeback in history depending on how they can go
