NJ on fire. Sadly the hole they dug themselves into at the start of the season might be the downfall for the season. At least the last 20 games doesn't make the signing of Kovy seem that bad. How many years do you think Brouder still has? Maybe 2 years? Does NJ have someone in the back waiting to take his spot? Or are the Canucks gonna dump Schneider to NJ at some point? Lol.

It's actually not as bad as it would be most times with a draft that is looking pretty mediocre at this point. It does troll everyone pretty well though. Gives their fans hopes of the playoffs, hurts other teams, etc.

The top 5 this year is still damn impressive. It's just after that it drops off significantly compared to other years.

Edit: teams going to the playoffs in BGFHL have been set. Last week is now just to determine who faces who.

Draft spots won't bring people to the arena. They need to win games and give season ticket holders and reason to keep pissing money away. Edmonton can get away with being shit because they're a cultural land mark. That and what the fuck else are people going to do in Edmonton in the winter asides from cry at the fact they live in Edmonton in the winter.

Weak just means it may take this group longer to reach the NHL. Considering the last few years have been stacked, it's probably a return to the average.

Much better quality overall than, say, hockey 30 years ago.

Probably the strangest penalty I've ever seen. I don't think this has ever happened since this penalty has been adopted.
