Thought this was pretty cool, even though I don't like him politically. The Prime Minister of Canada was watching the Canucks game last night with local hockey hero Trevor Linden. What's so cool about that? They were chilling in the regular seats with no body guards. People were able to come up and ask for autographs from both men.

If I owned a hockey team every game I would pick a seat or two at random and trade them for my epic owners seats just to watch with the fans and make someones night.

To do list for the Canucks for this stretch of games: President's Trophy (fucking rights), two 40 goal scorers, two 100 point scorers, healthy defensemen (Salo doesn't count better luck next year buddy), and maintain top 3 in special teams.

Actually it sounds like Salo could be playing again within the next few days. They say his elbow isn't broken. Everything else on the To Do list I approve of.

The years when Detroit won it, slightly throws off this data lol. Other than them I honestly can't recall off the top of my mind and without doing research other teams that won the President's and the Stanley Cup. I'm sure there has been some others total, but recent years all I can think of is Detroit, but when the Caps or Sharks won the President's they've been bounced by the semis.
