Guy directly specified the beginning of the season, and you wound up mentioning 14 other teams not being worried about it. I was just pointing out, at the beginning of the season, there are 28 teams (29 if DiPietro ever gets that wolverine adamantium infusion instead of being made of glass) who arent written out of playoff contention. And whos to say that even if they do that, the playoff games served cant be served once the team is mathematically out of playoff contention.

It would be hard to do that really because playoff games mean a hell of a lot more then regular season games. 1 playoff game is like getting suspended for 5 regular season games. Plus if you want to get into it, missing regular season games costs the player money, missing playoff games does not.

Im sure the NHLPA would have a problem with that.
