Boston got off to a good start on the back of some calls and some good play in front of Price. MTL started the second with penalties, but otherwise held off the Bruins.

Then in the third things just got out of hand.

Some calls? 6 of the 7 goals were even strength or short handed. Calls were 7 a side, the only difference in penalty minutes was the double minor on plakenic for mistaking Horton's head for the puck. Montreal was 0 for 6 on their vaunted power-play.
Habs sucked last night, and got outplayed, don't bail them out by blaming it on the refs.

3 of the 5 times boston went short handed was when the game was clearly out of reach, and a 4th could be debatable (coming back from a 3-0 deficit in the last 20 minutes isnt something you can deem as doable). Some of those penalties, as I posted about earlier, were horse shit. Mara gets a double for clearing Recchi out of the crease after he pretty much cross checked price? Gomez gets a high sticking penalty because his stick grazed someones visor? These penalties were when they actually had a chance at some form of a comeback.

Saying "well the penalties were evened out" when all of the penalties Boston got were when the game was already books is a fucking bullshit statement, and you know it.

Pretty sure high sticking is still high sticking, regardless of a visor or not. Even if it "grazed", its still clear cut in the rule book, unless its from a follow through on a shot/pass.
