Kovalev and Neal may not be getting many points during actual games, since the Pens traded for them, but they have both been excellent in the shootouts.

I don't agree with the kovalev pickup, but I think once Neal gels with the Pens, he'll be a huge contributor, especially with Crosby at his centre. While Crosby can make anyone good, I think Neal just hasn't shown his potential yet.

Previously I didn't like Crosby because he was just so massively overpromoted, but I respected him as a player due to his immense talent and work ethic.

Then I saw 24/7, and learned that he really is the whiny, insolent, crybaby fuck that everyone accuses him of being, lol. After that series I thought better of even Cooke than I did of Crosby.

24/7 didn't tell me anything I didn't already know about Crosby. But the guy's lived up to all the hype and then some. I respect him immensely and tell Caps fans who still call him "Cindy" or "Crysby" to shut the fuck up.

I'm Olli. ha. I've been working insane hours and going to college full time and haven't been contributing at all to this thread. (Un?)fortunately my job just ended. So I have some free time to lurk. I wasn't expecting anything with my team. I'm surprised I won honestly. My players have been injured like every other goddamn day and I haven't been able to keep up on Free Agency. I thought it was all yours Palin, so thanks.

Watched some of the Flyers game tonight after my men's league game. I just can't see them going to deep in the playoffs the way they've played the past few weeks. It's kind of the opposite of last year. They went into the playoffs fighting because they had to and had to fight to make it to the cup. This year they're kind of just floating into the playoffs. I guess it depends who they get matched up against.

I will absolutely need all the luck that I can get. My first two rounders have done a lot of nothing for me. Kovy lit it up the past few weeks but hasn't helped me out the past few games. I guess you really can't get too many points when your team is winning 1-0 or 2-1.. But yeah. That and Green has been hurt like every other day. Waste of a pick.
