This is what I thought, an easy elbowing penalty but if that warrants a major and match there aren't going to be many big hits in the NHL in years to come.

Yeah. I understand the dirty hits with the intentional elbows. But you can't call every hit with an elbow a major. I know they're trying to cut down on those kind of hits and its hard to make the call. But that one was a bad one to make.
