It really doesn't help their cause that the teams below them are pretty much all in desperation mode minus the Rangers. They still have a pretty good cushion but everyone else has a game in hand on them. If they can win 2 of their remaining games they should be fine as far as making the playoffs...but they've also been getting kinda beat up by teams they'd be facing in the playoffs.

Wings getting buried. McCollum in, his first NHL action in his career. 30 minutes left though, enough time to turn it around but it seems unlikely at this point.

He wasn't horrible but he missed 2 that he probably should have gotten, 2 went in off of legs/feet.

Blues get their 10th goal disallowed by offsetting minors at the other end of the ice lol.

e: And there is a real 10th. McDonald has gone from below average in this game to horrible. 7 goals allowed for him now, 3 for McCollum who did not look good in his debut.

Hopefully this and Datsyuk/Howard coming back will light a fire under their ass. They certainly haven't played with any sense of urgency except for parts of the games against Chicago and Washington.
