Slated to start their next game on Saturday, thank god.
Datsyuk was possible for tonight so hopefully he will be back as well.

Flames battle plan vs the Ducks: Dig a hole, pull off a miracle.
That should work.
You know, I keep hearing about how teams don't want to face the Ducks in the playoffs but they arent a very sound defensive team so if you can limit their offense, shouldnt be to hard to beat them no?
Good luck trying to contain Getzlaf, Ryan, and Perry.
Emery's been pretty damn good too.
Ducks aren't incredibly deep, but their top 2 lines are fucking nasty. Plus they're already a pretty physical team, which is the type of hockey that transitions into the playoffs.
That didnt seem like the right call :\
The small fire on the Flames boat is starting to grow....
No wonder Flames are losing, Darryl Sutter is back in the building.
Annnnd I think that's the last of this season. It was a good effort post Dec.23rd. Here's hoping next season goes a little better and Jay Feaster actually makes a couple changes
That's just stupid. The team has a solid core, and he's the heart of it. The man is producing a point per game with Alex Tanguay and a random center (he's also 3 points away on 1000 in his career, but that's more a milestone than tradebait). If anything, let some of the UFA's go, (Kotalik, Hagman, etc), try to get rid of Matt Stajan and his stupidly terrible contract, bring in some AHL kids to hopefully add some speed and try to get Iggy an actual solid linemate or two. I'd even go as far as to say try to resign Tanguay and focus on finding a good center.
The main trouble is that there really aren't that many amazing UFA's at center, Brad Richards being the big one, but his contract would be pretty gigantic. So the better route would probably be to trade for one and try to fill out other positions with signings/trades.
I've always hated this notion of "your team sucks, blow it to smithereens and start again". That's such a "give up and make an excuse as to why we suck" mentality, and it's annoying especially on the pro level.
It certainly looks like Buffalo's on a mission with or without Miller. It's probably for the best, this way I can cross the border to the HSBC and get to a few playoff games for about $500 less per ticket. Thank goodness Americans dislike hackey!
The thing about Miller, is he will play as good as he's needed for any given game. For example:
Sabres score 8 goals, Miller will let in 5. Sabres score 1 goal, Miller will shutout.
That's probably the most frustrating thing about him. It could also possibly have to do with the defense getting lazy once they get a lead as well.
I understand somewhat of the panic, but Enroth has been a quality standin so far, no? I remember back in December or so, Miller got hurt, and this kid stood on his head against the habs. .915 SV% 2.45 GAA isnt bad by any means, especially if you compare it to millers equal .915 SV% and higher 2.60 GAA
More good news for Winnipeg Jets fans, Goldwater has responded to the concessions Matthew Hulsizer made and they still don't like it. Source
I'd be willing to bet money that the league won't say anything about this during the playoffs, and unless it gets leaked early there will be an announcement around the draft that the Coyotes are being moved.
Fuck I really need a second TV. Opening day for the Giants & Sharks have a chance to clinch there playoff spot with a regulation victory versus the Stars.
