As bad as a hit as that was, the Canucks players shouldnt have put himself in that position. Agree with the call, just players need to protect themselfs better.

Tanev is young, was playing junior A two years ago. He doesn't protect himself as well as he could but Clifford can't make that hit, he cost LA any chance of tying the game.

Canucks could lose to a Hawks team that actually plays like a Hawks team and it's fairly likely given the standings. Preds beat lolorado which was comforting; dropping the Red Wings would be icing given Osgood and Datsyuk (I think) are back for the next game. Really wish the Blues hadn't blown them out; they're going to come out hungry as shit regardless who plays. What the hell happened to the Stars?

The season ended in Boston when we gooned it up and lost 3 players because we're retarded. Or maybe it was lost in Calgary when we gave up 7 goals and lost all confidence in our defensive game. Or maybe last week in Anaheim when we gave up 2 points to a division rival with 5 seconds left. IDK. Maybe they never were as good as they looked, and they just were lucky or caught lightning in a bottle. Atlanta West?

Richards is probably gone next season, and good riddance. The guy's been absolutely atrocious since he came back from his concussion. Let someone else deal with him.

Truthfully though, the team has the talent to compete. We need new ownership badly to get a solid shutdown D, and most of all we need Crawford gone. The guy doesn't know how to coach a modern NHL team at all, and I'm 95% convinced with a competent coach this team has the talent to be better.

I'm not even mad after tonight's loss. I expected it. I was furious after the Anaheim game. I was heartbroken after the Nasvhille game. Today I'm just numb, and over it. How do you drop from the top of the Pacific to missing the playoffs in just 3 months? Fucking pathetic.

Looking at the standings today I think we can almost declare Dallas done for the season, they need to win both games this weekend and the way they're playing now I'm not so sure that's gonna happen.

That's good news for all the Chicago fans on the forum as they seem to be in the drivers seat now. As long as they stay above .500 hockey for the rest of the season they're in.

Should win tonight, then we got Tampa Sunday Montreal Tuesday, Blues on Wed (which I'll be going to so excuse my absence that night lol) and then we close out next weekend with a home and home with Detroit. .500 hockey the rest of the season is hopeful though I dunno if we'll pull it off.
