Think it's safe to pick Pens tonight, Devils are going to have 19 skaters tops, but possibly 18, not sure if Leblond got suspended or not for his late-game instigator penalty(supposed to be an automatic one game per the rules, but apparently if you're Alex Burrows during the playoffs that doesn't apply).

He received a 1-game suspension for his "turn the rookie Swede into a rag doll" performance.

Islanders are playing desperate forechecking hockey. They're a bunch of kids atm desperate to make their name and win their first in their building, after dropping it to Dallas. I'm not surprised by their surge.

Ducks Defense is just horrible. Their top line got like 25 PIMs between them too I think. I know Ryan got kicked out of the game.

The ducks roster reads as a who's who of 5 years ago hockey, plus Getslav and Perry.

They also have Jason Blake, who had one 40 goal year and never came close again. Blake also played for the Leafs in 09-10, further proof that any Leaf dealt in that season carries failure disease like a plague rat.

Edit: Just checked the game stats. The only thing Blake did was serve fighting penalties for Getslav and Ryan. Not even a shot on goal. TBH, that's the best way to utilize Jason Blake in your lineup

Jamal Mayers : Dealt to Flames. Redealt to San Jose. Injured
Alexi Ponikarovsky : Dealt to Pens. Most notable for accomplishing nothing in the playoffs against Montreal. Redealt to LA. 2 games... 6 PIM, 0 SOG.
Matt Stajan : Dealt to Flames to help them make the playoffs. They did not. -3. Currently injured
Victor Stalberg : Dealt to Blackhawks for VERSTEEG! Most notable for a whopping -13 season with the 09-10 Leafs, sent to minors.
Lee Stepniak : Dealt to Phoenix... became good, actually, but then fell apart in playoffs. The leafs, you see, have little playoff experience
Jiri Tlusty : Dealt to Carolina. Did nothing. Sent to minors.
Ian White : Dealt to Flames, did something. Still not sure what yet.
Vesa "The Brick Wall" Toskala : Dealt to Flames. Never seen again

2010-2011 Ducks Stats after 3 games. It reads like "Saku Koivu and the Gong Show".

If you're gonna bet against Toronto, and I'll try not to be too biased, I would wait a week or two and see what happens when the streak breaks. The team has sleeper potential.

They were a 1 line team last year, and appear to be worse than that this year, given that they have no D to back up that 1 line.

You know I could really use a solid performance from Turco tonight for my BG team, since the Hawks are playing Buffalo, they're not that great at scoring. And The Hawks are playing COREY CRAWFORD, aaaah God why!?

Guy needs reps sooner or later, may as well do it against a team that only scores 2 goals a game tops.
