No where did I say they have a good team.
They have one of the best, if not the best goalie in the league in Lundqvist. And thats it.
They have a hardworking team full of 2nd liners and roleplayers. They work their balls off to win, and they won't quit on a game, as evidenced by tonite. I did not say they were the team to beat, I did not say they were a good team. All I said was that they are dangerous, because they will beat you into submission with physical play and little dink and dunk garbage goals. Thats how they win games, thats why they are in a playoff position.
Kyle Wellwood 1st star. wut.
San Jose is looking good, Welly is fitting in well on their third line. LA on the other hand didn't look good tonight, wouldn't mind having a first round rematch with them.
999th point for Thorton. Next one's a biggie.
Bad omens in Boston - if Tim Thomas chokes, this team loses vital signs. Tim's let in at least 4 goals in the last 6 games. The Bruins take more shots on net than 2/3rds of the league. Now I had assumed they were hunting for a higher position for the playoffs tonight. NYR has a truly abysmal home record and, for 40 minutes, it truly was Boston's to lose.
I'd be sweating buckets as a Bruins fan, knowing what happened last year to Philly.
New York's a scrappy team, and as a Leaf fan I've always respected what Lundqvist can do on a hot night (Mostly because those hot nights are against us). That said I seriously doubt the Rangers have a Cup-worthy lineup. Just cause anything can happen in the playoffs doesn't mean it will - Last year's Cup champ was Chicago, not Montreal.

He is currently .001% above Hasek's mark of .937, which is the record.
From Bob Mackenzie: I am hearing NYR Ryan Callahan has a broken ankle, courtesy of a blocked Zdeno Chara shot last night.
If that's true ouch for both him and the team.
Ankle shots are the absolute worst lol, especially if they're coming at you by way of 105 mph shot from Chara.
Yeah Cally is done for the year.
Great. We should have signed Haglund to that pro contract when we could >.>
Neuvy gets his third straight start tonight. No word on how healthy Varly is, or if it would even matter. I guess we have our first round goalie.
In other goalie news, Leighton apparently on re-entry waivers today.
meant to post this sunday but been dealing with car trouble lol

Hey Toronto can still make the playoffs! But:
They must win all 3 of their remaining games in regulation or overtime. No shootouts.
Buffalo must lose all 3 of their remaining games in regulation.
Carolina must lose at least 2 of their remaining 3 games. If they don't lose all 3 games, they must lose one of the other 2 in regulation
IT CAN STILL HAPPEN!
