Ah, yeah. Still, I think with all the camera crews there and the president being there shit would get out.

They took all the media footage and discredited everyone publishing

Over all I will give it a few more weeks before I write it off.
i don't care what you guys say, this show is getting good, and is staying on my DVR scheduled recording list lol

Still meh, but still watching.
The show cuts away from the action for a "xx months ago" scene a little too much IMO. I watched the first two eps on tv, gonna start watching on HULU from now on to fast forward. Really, I only keep watching now to see the young couple get back together, the rest of the story is kind of bad.
Ratings have tanked, good premise, but I doubt there's any reason to keep watching if its gonna end in cliffhanger fashion.
just saw ep 3 on HULU, wow they really cut back on that "xx months earlier" tactic. Much more focused now, too bad they lost their initial ratings grab in the first two eps to knock that sh*t off.
I have actually enjoyed the last couple of episodes more than the first few. I still can't say I'm involved with any of the characters on an emotional level, but the plot's been decent. I wish they had found a more remarkable actor for Thomas, he seems woefully undercast. I did appreciate last night's revelation that

EDIT: It looks like it just got picked up for a full season. So that's good news, NBC has at least some faith in it.
i don't quite find any close emotion ties with the characters myself, but it's not that necessary for me to enjoy a show
i don't really get all the hate on the show either, what's so wrong with it exactly?

To recap the show so far:
-The president is going to release aliens of some sort from prison for no new discernible reason other than 60-ish years have passed.
-Some elaborate secret assassin organization learns about the release(apparently they didn't care about them in prison til' now) and chooses an elaborate plane hijacking as a means of terminating that release/the president/ the alien leader lady.
-The already free group of aliens had info on the secret elaborate assassination agency and prevented said plan just before fruition, resulting in not releasing the aliens anyways.
-Said free aliens play hostage takers with the plane's passengers to ensure the original alien's release even before they knew they weren't going to be released anymore.
-The aliens apparently have an E.T. motive but refuse to share that with the president,
the hot girlfriend(who I have seen in a movie and am convinced had lipo before getting this role) knows her assassin kidnapper from before she was kidnapped but won't bring it up even when they are in a room alone together and
the boyfriend has almost no importance but is getting a hell of a lot of attention...
Some plot holes really need to start filling in...
unexplained plot points =/= plot holes
anyone still watch? I was watching the newest one and was wondering if anyone can explain something I seemed to have missed
