Changes between beta and release?

The zone one is pretty big. One of the biggest SE Defense arguments was that they weren't going to show off all their zones in an OB, which I can agree to. However, if it turns out that some of these... questionable zone placements are going to hold between OB and retail, then it makes me wonder just what they've changed between the two versions, outside of unlocking the UI speed and imput lag.

It's not as plentiful that's for sure..haven't seen a piece of gear yet..but since I'm taking up crafting it doesn't bother me.

Not as plentiful as said above, I got some Sheepskin Wristguards from one but no Hempen Hat etc like in beta stages so far

Has it been found out whether the northern zone line in Gridania/Limsa (some kind fields/northern islands respectively) are accessible yet or are they still blocked out?

Leve's are also giving out crystals (like I got 1 lightning from 1...) >.>

exp gains seem faster, might jsut be me.
server is a little laggy on response still (like talking to a npc to buy/sell).

menu response though is faster (like when you press home key menu) overall alot stuff seems more reactive and faster (excluding buying things from a npc)

getting multiple crystal types from a mob (up to 3 like killing a marmot gave fire,earth and ice)

prices on vendors for stuff went up slightly

crafting %'s from using standard/bold for quality+ and progress seemed to have gone down (making it harder to reach 100% quality and progress to 100% if you messup more then like 2 times)

seems like less mobs roaming even when too many weren't on at the time (although by jp hours, there were many players and still not many mobs)

the subligar is still awesome

having to manually sort your inventory via retainer & PC is as revolutionary as forcing ppl to checking hundreds of bazaars manually since no AH

What is surprising is that the the game gad the sort function in Alpha afair and then they removed it for whatever reason (yeah, reason lol)
