Took a couple of attempts because I need to get lucky with Sour Breath. One shots me half the time, and almost always leaves me with silence. Can never Contagion+Heal fast enough to survive even if I live through the damage. Maybe if I get lucky with a para proc, but winning attempt didn't involve a breath at all. Fun, figured this thread needed some real shots~

Wow, fatigue much? D: I'm assuming the fight mostly consisted of enfeebling/DoTing the shit out of it while struggling to stay alive?

Did any Morbol Vines drop?

I dont think it was really that uncommon for people who don't craft, and my highest was 20GS (repairs only and I gave up after Silver). Pre-patch SP/EXP was pretty much the same pacing at best with the 15 man groups, and physical TNLs are huge. I didnt necessarily slack either, I got all the battle jobs to 10 prepatch and Conj was 18 or something. But I did all that when my physical was already in the 30s and didn't receive any EXP for it. /shrug

And I dont have a screenshot of it dead ;x To be fair, all the ones I posted are of times when I ended up dieing anyway lol. I just snapped a few mid cast/attack to try to catch something cool. Didn't drop anything but cheers from passerbys.

And yeah fight was just DoTs/Enfeebles/TP Drain and hoping it doesn't breath. Open with sealed Shadowsear for like 10-20% of its HP if it didnt resist. Nothing special, just made for some cool shots.

I wouldn't say it's nothing special, you soloed a pretty epic mob. I just wanted to see a SS of it dead. On the other note I leveled MRD to 6 and that was the only other job I leveled Pre-Patch and my Phys was only 1 behind or so. You guys must have got some awesome exp, I'm jealous.

Yeah, I still find it odd that EXP is rewarded for crafting/gathering based on the current rank vs rank of recipe/point while mages/melee only get EXP based on their physical level vs. the enemy's level.

That changed with the patch. Ill catch up eventually, just missed out on a bunch of stuff pre-patch. No big d.

R50/L42~43 was the standard for people who rarely crafted and hit R50. I never grinded crafting but tried to keep up with local leves and was R50/L45. Those who somehow managed to grind crafts while grinding their primary DoW/DoM were R50/L48~50.

See now I just dont understand the bitching at all, though I admitedly haven't done much outside leves for my lowbie jobs. I did those Efts in the mid-20s to maybe 30 tops with the typically as-big-as-you-can-make-them party. You're in the mid 30s fighting them with an average party size, 350-140? Seems like good grinding to me!

We had no healer at that point, we were just burning through them. It worked so well I just took the recruit off and we grinded like that. Kuro mentioned it in another thread already though so I won't dwell on that. Exp was good yeah.
