thm is op! or should i say emulate is op?
just that the 40min ish of darting the stuff would somewhat suck.
I should have recorded the buffalo NM leve did the other day, it was pretty epic. Lv50 gladiator, lv50 archer, 3 Lv50 pug (1 of'em me), and the healer lv 35 thm.
90% hp Fight was ok till I started getting threat, so instead of hitting the horn alot I was mostly tanking.
80% someone aggros the salamander thing, it blasts the healer and the person that aggroed it and then it sits around us flopping around with its weird aggro system.
gladiator goes down first, so I tank with no healer for like a min.
50% since I don't have voke set, buffalo goes sort of out of control and plows everyone to the right with onrush killing healer again.
rest went ok, I sort of voked by spamming abilities till it died, the fight was pretty crazy considering the others mostly (cept the gladiator and thm) were all french and had never done a NM before... the thm got Mp by Mp draining stuff as she ran back to the buffalo far up north from bloodshore aether O_o
next time pull a stunt like that off, need to have my fraps running ;/
Needs moar Miqote. Especially Miqote in neat looking tank gears.

I took this one in Northern La Noscea~ I think it came out okay.
Too dark imo, barely can see anything.
What the hell is that...
Weird lighting glitch I seen at the sphene doblyn camp earlier. Spoiled due to size.
Maybe a lightning effect to be used with the Umbral event in the future?

the problem with poster edges filter is that it only really works well if u use... less of it
i used to dabble with it in 11, hid those jaggy edges in my screenshots when i was on my old pc, i think it makes 14 look better too tho lol
of course it looks better at higher resolutions (first 2 images), works on intro too to an extent(third image).
I was planning on recording the misions but having to turn down the resolution a lot or adobe etc cant cope lol (last several images) but found a happy medium at around 1280x720 which compresses well to a tv or dvd resolution. Funnily enough, the lower end shots make it look like some old 60s 70s cartoons (not everyones cup of tea i guess tho lol). Will work best for cutscenes because they are more "close up" than the regular camera (wish there were gobbie footprints in 14 tho as i dont have any fraps'd ...)

i'm ending up doing a lot of converting between premiere, photoshop, back to premiere and then out to virtualdub for subtitling
i dont have after effects and i cannot seem to replicate the poster edges effect from photoshop in premiere ;-/
little bit of help needed lol takes so long to make a clip
Just fiddling with the levels/curves/saturation should be enough.
If you really want to fiddle around with stuff, avoid the filters all together (Though unsharpen mask, and smart blur are fine so long as you don't abuse it), but use what are in the layers part, like overlay, dodge, opacity, masking tools, etc.
I wish photoshop never introduced filters... some are so tacky. (ie: lens flare) Poster edge just kind of makes it.. chunky, like it was a cartoon and the details are blurred away. If you do want to play with filters like that, copy the layer, make it a new one, do the filter on that one, then play with the opacity so at least the structure of the actual screen shot is preserved and boosts the 'filter'.
sorry that was too much poster edge >_<
Any amount of pre-built photoshop "filters" is far too much.
