Has anyone got on Figaro in the past few hours? I was on Figaro with my friends in OB, just got home from work, and Figaro is not an option on the world select. Annoying since they are all on vent talking about playing QQ

They (SE Lodestone site) just posted that Figaro and a couple other worlds were closed to new accounts - seems temporary.

That "at least 1 month" stuff is only for the discount for XI, you should be able to get the boots as soon as you create a character after activating your XI account.

After reading it like a person with an 8th grade reading level, you are absolutely right

Also, took the patch from my torrent and replaced it in the patch folder for FFXIV, shit worked like a charm. I'm 100% positive I already placed that file in the folder before, but figured what the hell, might as well try anything. Glad I did.

so uh, after my phone call with SE i cancelled my ff11 account since they "cant" give me boots.

i delete and remake my character, BAM boots. no bill on account inc.

Program stops responding, details button says "APPCRASH". I haven't played longer than 15-20 minutes before it does this every time.

My game sounds keep cutting out eventually while I'm in Gridania. It did this during OB as well but I didn't have time then to look into a solution. All sounds cut out, music, sound effects, and menu/system sounds until I log out. Soon as I hit the character screen, all of the sounds return.

happened yesterday to me too for the first time.

Seems like retail version is giving me all the bugs I didnt have in all the beta versions...

well I had my ffxi account active before I registered my official copy yesterday and it's linked to my SE account. No Hermes.

I hope it's temporary...everyone i know from 11 is going to be on figaro and i can't get on /sadface for now.

Trying to install the game but it keeps freezing after only installing a few %. What gives?

Make sure you deleted all of your alpha/beta info from your folders. I kept getting "critical errors" even after uninstalling until I personally cleaned out the alpha/beta folders from my PC.

Airing a few gripes. This game has so much potential but...

The targeting is such a pain.

At least 1/4 of all fights I get the "target is already engaged" prompt. Then I have to untarget, sheath the weapon, pull it back out, re target and resume the fight(all while the mob is hitting me). -This needs to be fixed fast

Animations of the battles often skip and you have to read the message box to see if it has happened(this is not system related). I was also getting major issues when trying to get a link pearl- took about 10 tries...

Also, why can't they make the leve mob names a different color so they don't appear as the random mobs. - make the text above other peoples leve mobs blue or purple or something so we can tell the difference(this includes the dots on the mini map)

Keyboard controls are... yeah. I thought ffxi had a decent set up, 14 is so different.

Lastly, there needs to be more mobs in general. In FFXI, it was hard to walk 30-50' and not see a mob. In 14, it can take 5-10 minutes to find a mob to kill. They should at least double the amount of monsters. And of course- at some point add some timed NMs

Thanks, that sped things right up. But now its giving me an error: The lobby server connection has encountered an error. Error code 1015

How can I get around this?
