Ok so let me check this;
CPU - Intel® Pentium® Processor E5300 (2M Cache, 2.60 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
Memory - 6GB (No speeds specificed, I'm assuming triple-channel?)
Video - Integrated/Intel?
PSU - 600w (Quality/brand not specified)
PCI-E Compliant - Yes?
And you want to upgrade to a GTX 460?
Need to know a little more information.

Okay, I looked up your motherboard. It shows this for expansion (as you have mentioned).
Doesn't say anything about a x16 port. Yet the image clearly shows one.Expansion Slots
PCI Express x4 1
PCI Express x1 1
PCI Slots 2

In that case, if it does have a x16 port. You'll be fine to upgrade, although since my opinion is biased. I'd suggest an ATi 5850 over the GTX 460 1GB/2GB.
Lastly, someone else will have to correct me. But I'm pretty sure you might experience a bottleneck.
yeah i'm sure i'll bottleneck but i just want to be able to play the game for a bit while i save for a new comp
Its a full length pci-e slot but it's set up with only 4 lanes.
There is a benchmark that compares the performance of different slots on tom's hardware and with the x4 pci-e 2.0 slot they lost 25-33% performance. With your cpu I'm not sure which would bottleneck you first though.
