    Voices really soft?

Is it normal that the voiced parts are pretty much inaudible, unless you jack the volume to the point where the rest of the music/sound effects is incredibly loud? If not, any ideas on how to fix it?

I figured this out myself, but in case anyone else is having the same problem... it was my speaker setup in Windows. I got a new computer and it defaulted to thinking I had 5.1 surround speakers. I only have 2.1, and once I set it up for that, I could hear the voices fine.

I had this problem with my 5.1 speakers, some people said that installing new DirectX helped them. Didn't really do much for me, but what I noticed is that it wasn't the voices that were soft, but other stuff was loud. While I finished playing XIV and went to do anything else I had to turn my speakers up because I noticed I had to have them really low for the game not to be too loud lol.

I fixed this by just increasing the volume of the center channel on 5.1 speakers.
