Supernatural Season 6

I wonder how they'll pull this off as seasons go on. Charmed got pretty fucking lame after whatever season they killed the Source and then you had a new being taking over Hell and coming after them. This is obviously how Supernatural is currently headed. Crowley will eventually die I'm sure, he could survive this season though, but how will they continue the show after Crowley eventually dies?

They weren't initially planning to take it past last season, let alone this one. So far the show has improved every year though, including this one despite Kripke not being the main man anymore.

Loved this episode. This sets up some great stuff.

He had them by the balls the whole time. lol Figured out how they'd go after him and removed the threat.

As good as Cas was, Crowley had the best line of the night with: "So, me Charlie, you angels."

Right, Charmed had a "similar" thing happen though and the main creator stepped down after a few seasons and things started going downhill ever since. Granted, they didn't have the likeable characters like Supernatural, that's why Supernatural is far better and why it still is good (just because we all like the characters so much). But there comes a point where the plot is going to just fall off, and I hope they can stop before that comes to place.

I'm kinda surprised that you said it's improved every year, me and my friends all agree it kinda went downhill during season 4. I still like the show, but I guess I liked it better when the formula was "find town where there is an evil thing, meet hot girl (sometimes one with a child who represents the innocence Sam/Dean never had), save hot girl from aforementioned evil thing, move on." There's really very few episodes from Season 4 and 5 that I would rewatch. I like Castiel and Crowley, but I think the show has too much going on now though. To each his own though I suppose.

I kinda like this storyline with the Alphas, but am I wrong in saying that they were never mentioned in previous seasons? You would think that with all the seasoned hunters (John Wincester, Bobby, Rufus) around, someone would have mentioned it.

except the alphas were killed off long ago and came back from purgatory after the apocalypse event I think is what they said in the one with the shifter.

The apocalypse changed up a whole bunch of stuff. The subject of angels, for one, was brought up in earlier seasons, most notably season 2, where Sam thinks he's seen an angel and Dean says something like, "Don't you think if they actually existed, a hunter would have seen one by now?" Demonic possessions were also not common, I think Bobby mentioned in season 1/2 that normally you saw like 1-2 cases a year, and now those black-eyed leeches are everywhere. *shrug*

Me, I'm sick of brotherly arguing and the whole demons/angels bit (which by the way, they said they were leaving behind - I's not happy, grrr), so my interest is kind of dwindling. I still think it's a great show, but I want like... season 1-3 back.

I enjoyed the comedy of season 5. The episode of them trapped in TV land with Gabriel, "Hammer of the Gods" (the episode at the hotel with Odin and Baldur) and "The Real Ghostbusters" (Episode with the first supernatural convention). I do wish they would get back to the Kill and move on set though. I thought thats what they were hinting at (With sam saying near the end of season 5 "Remember back when we would just hunt Wendigos?") and I thought at first the Producers and writers said thats what they were gonna do. This season still has potential, but giving crowley the power to yank good people out of heaven is going a bit far IMO.

I guess he could be from hell. Nothing from the episode in season 4 lead me personally to believe he wouldnt have gone up .. but they didnt give us much background. I will admit hes kind of shady now though

I do think he's from hell. I mean, if Crowley's the king of Hell, how would he get up to heaven unnoticed to get him out? I get there's the whole Civil War thing that could potentially draw their attention, but I fail to see why and how he would take him out of heaven, and then somehow get him to work for him.

Angels can pull people out of both heaven and hell. They pulled Dean out of hell, and Adam out of heaven. And if Joshua from "Dark Side of the Moon" is to be believed, both Sam and Dean have been forcibly booted out of heaven on more than one occasion.

Demons initially said they didn't have such power (in season 4, when they were asking who was behind Dean's reappearance topside). Powerful demons have been shown to have that power though (presumably, Sam was brought back from somewhere by a crossroads demon when he died at the end of season 2), and if Crowley's telling the truth and really is the King of Hell atm, it's almost a guarantee he can pull people out of hell. Heaven might be a different story, but we don't have any guarantee Samuel went to heaven when he originally died.

Perhaps Crowley is working with Balthazar. I too had thought that Samuel wasn't in Heaven, but Hell. He did mentioned he got pulled down, which could either be the truth, or it could be that he was/is lying and was in Hell and either didn't remember it or was hiding it from Dean and Sam. But if he didn't remember being in Hell, if he really was, and yet both Sam and Dean remembered everything until the point they were freed...seems fishy.
