Back up to just over 5K in total. Finished another 2 Northrend Zones on my Warrior. Just got Borean and Sholozar and a bit of ICC to do, then I could work her Argent Torunament quests up, but Meh.

The only GDKP that runs on my server has a 10K entrance fee.

I have about 20k, just bought traveller's mammoth, grand ice mammoth, and some 264 for my paladin. It's hard as hell making money on my server- low pop, and my faction is outnumbered 10:1. My main income atm is ravasaur hatchlings. -_- Might actually have to quest Northrend on my alts lol

I bought a 277 wand for 2.5K this week and ended up making 6.3K from the run. Pretty sweet deal. It's great being a shadow priest because I can get spirit pieces that most people don't want and then it can even double as healing gear. Some fool spent 31K on one heroic tier token. That just seems crazy to me with the expansion coming to an end relatively soon. I would never spend that much unless it was a huge upgrade like replacing my abyssal rune with a phylactery or DFO.

I'm sitting on about 59k right now on my main, with about 3-5k on my other alts. Don't do many dailys but since I get 10-20k a month payouts from my guild, makes it easy to keep money. Every once in a while though i'll hop on my pld or war and go on a huge herbing/mining run and see what I get.

so yeah i've been on a fail server for all of WotlK. only finally xferred in preperation for cata. I've honestly never heard of GDKP runs before, how do they work?

Hey Guys,

I'm going to run an ICC 25 on Thursday ____ __ at 10pm Server Time.

Here's the lowdown.

Rules:

- Be prompt.
- Have knowledge of the first 8 bosses of ICC
- Be a competent player. If you are pulling less then 5k in ICC 25. You are doing it wrong. This also applies to movement. If you die to fire, overaggro, keyboard turning or being AFK it will affect your share of the overall pot. Healers will be gauged differently but it's easy to spot a bad.
- Bring your own consumables (Except for Fish Feasts).

Bidding Rules/Regs:

- This is a GOLD DKP run. You are bidding gold in an open view auction system. Bids are placed in /raid so there is no confusion. GoldRaidManager is being used to track all gold spent and to divide the pot evenly.
- If you are bidding on an item, please have the gold to pay for it. If you do not pay, you do not stay. Same goes for anyone trying to be funny/annoying/stupid.
- Bids will start at 1000g for gear, with 100g increments. This means if the item is at 1200, the next bid is 1300, not 1350.
- There is no Main Spec / Off Spec. If a druid wants to buy plate gear they can, provided they have the gold to pay for it.
- All Primordial Saronites are reserved.
- All BoE's that drop are reserved for prepaid buyers.
- Bloods and all quest items are free. If we have more then 1 person wanting them, a random 100 will settle it.
- Shadowfrost Shards are semi-spoken for by one of our regular. If you are that far on the quest and would like to get a few. Please speak up at the beginning of the raid.

Other Stuff:

I've been running a GDKP's for over 2 months now. I've got lists of people who will attest to my honesty when it comes to this sort of thing. I'm doing this for the Alliance because no one else has and I think we can all stand to make some money and gear ourselves up. That being said, I'm expecting a mix of mains and geared alts to be able to clear to and kill Saurfang and beyond, please don't try to join if you can't hack it.

Progression(?): I've had groups go 4/12 and 11/12, it depends entirely on the group makeup and how motivated people are. I will NEVER promise anything past 4/12 because it's bitten me in the ass before. Please bring your A game, this content is easily doable with a pug.

In during me. I went over some of the methods/addons I used in the recent accomplishment thread a couple times. I sold glyphs, cut metagems, cut epic gems, darkmoon cards, spellthreads, cut blue quality gems. Everything I produced was usually done by getting a good deal on base materials, be it saronite ore, uncut gems, herbs, or ink and then using one of my professions on it to increase value. Glyphs were the biggest percent profit, typically netting ~30g for something that costs me about 1-2g to make. Meta gems were the largest margin, typically netting 70-90g while costing 20g to make.

derp. yeah thats pretty damn good. inscription is certainly the best profession for profit on. it costs literally nothing to make glyphs and you can sell them for whatever people will pay for them. Kinda wish i had capped 80s so i could cap out professions and work on that kinda gold farming.

makes me giggle when i hear people complain about not having gold though, for shit like flasks.

Not having gold for flasks is just people being flat out lazy, you can make more than enough to cover a week or more of moderate raiding in both flasks and potions with just an hour of daily quests, which is probably at the low end of the earnings spectrum.

im at 6400g~ atm, with a good 3.5k on AH still. And thats after buying flying skill, giving 400g to friend, spending a good 800g+ leveling enchanting (stupid 340->350 was 425g but got some back from selling the enchants). buying armored bear mount for 750g in the past week.

Enchanting being my main money maker and "playing the AH", as my inscription Mage is still 15

Leveling it tonight though.

Highest is 64 rogue

Hitting 65 tonight so i can get Grand Master Enchanting.

You can buy it for that, you can't sell it for that, most you'd get would be $2 at a gaming site. Krye is right when he says you wouldnt get more than $1 a k if you sold to RMT
