For PvE raiding, Holy pala + both types priests are on top, then shaman, then druid.
It really burns trying to get frontloaded aoe healing out of druid.

Girls, you're both pretty.
I don't know how anyone could argue that Paladin wasn't pretty much the worst arena class in the game (at least outside of 5s) in BC. Maybe if you played a Shaman or something, those where pretty bad too.
Anyone else amused that a thread about how much gold you have degraded into what's worse, pally or priest in pvp?
Somewhat on topic, I'm about to become very rich because tailoring epics are far overpriced for the cost of mats, and JC/mining/enchanting combo is as OP as ever
In the beginning, mp efficiency of a druid on tanks was very big. However, as everyone gets gear that advantage disappears quickly. Druids are still amazing for single tank healing (and 2-tank healing w/ 2 stacks of LB if the fight is very stationary for nourish-refreshing), but honestly you get almost the same out of beacon, plus the paladin has much better AoE healing tools, has better cooldown buttons, and so forth.
The short story is that both Druid and shaman both lack front-loaded aoe heals in a major way, and that seems to be the sticking point on a lot of encounters.
Back to the thread topic then...
I'm up to about 80k across all toons. Insane prices on herbs ftw!
I've managed to spend around 350k on blues/purples/gems/enchants/professions since cata came out. I'm about -40k from where I started, which was just over 1.2mil, now down to 1.16 mil.
Big purchases:
Alch Drake - 60k
~15-20 Malestrom Crystals - 30k-ish
Epic Cape for my War - 15k
Epic Axe for friend - 15k
Offhand for Priest - 10k
Gloves for priest - 10k
Hat for Priest - 10k
Pair of Amazing Tank rings for warrior - 10k
Neck and Ring for DPS on warrior - 20k
Shield for War - 8k
crafting mat prices are just retarded. I can't believe i'm getting away with selling heartbloom for 450g/stack. obsidian for 200k+/stack. the shit is everywhere in deepholm. Not complaining at all, but it's unreal. i made 3k gold just doing quests and mining/herbing while flying between said quests on my first day back.
I'm really hoping it's the former because otherwise that's fucked
I have about 10,000 gold.
When I leveled jc obsidium was 400-500 or more a stack. Green uncut gems were selling for around 100-125 a piece, with the ones for dailies or usable for rings/necks (hess/night) being around 200 a piece.
Any cut green gems, including perfects, were selling for 10-20g. The necks and rings were selling for about 50.
I got through it by pulling out my former main, 80 paladin, and mining shit for myself, as well as spending more gold than I'd care to admit. Of course, that only got me to 475, but I was able to start making a bit of money then by making blue stam gems. I made a lot of money once that went grey off metas. I'm still making like 1k a day off the only meta recipe I have. Someone else got it and has started fucking up the market now, though. Fucking dude undercut me by 150g the first time he listed any, and listed 6.
Savage leather still selling for 170-200 a stack on BR, if nobody else is skinning there I can make around a thousand gold just by being at the crocolisks by baradin hold and skinning all the ones people kill for dailies in the first 20 minutes or so after a fight.
Also, atm there's a cooking recipe I'm grabbing mats for at 60/stack and selling cooked for 200/stack at will.
Prospecting is pretty much amazing money right now, stack of ore on Arthas is 100g and the green gems are 20-30g each so you are garunteed profit on the green gems and rare gems are just straight up +100g unless its a yellow and you can't cut mastery yet.
