It's same on BR cept most of our uncut greens are 10-20 now.

greens are 16-30. whiptail (herbs) is up to 450. volatile life is 20g each and i end every night with 30+ of em. it's so crazy.
100g+ for a rare gem? Shit, there like 45 on Illidan

Right now on Kil'Jaeden cut purple, orange, and red gems are going for 150+ while the rest hover around 70-100 cut. The green gems are generally 20-30 with the daily gem skyrocketing to 70ish. Elementium is only 130-140g per stack so I haven't even bothered checking the obsidium price. It's a good time to be a JC right now.
Down to about 80k on my main after getting my vial of the sands made with somewhere around 10k across my alts. Don't really have much motivation to farm anymore
I got this to drop randomly off a mob in Tor Borad

Noticed it was a tanking cape, wowhead says average price is 610, so I randomly put it on AH for 2k. It sold eventually, but I put it this low because I figured people can easy grind rep for a near equivalent cape which is:

So I thought 2000g was reasonable, but it seems a few people were talking about it on guild about my poor decision of selling it for 2000g. Granted, I guess in the current inflated situation 2000g isn't a lot, but I don't think anyone would pay more for a cape they can get via grinding a tiny bit for rep! Just a thought.
It's real value isn't high, but there is so many rich players who just hit 85 and want to get the requirement for heroic that would be willing to pay more. There is many players who won't bother checking the alternative and will pay w/e they want.
If there is only one item on AH and no one to undercut you, you could probably get 6-10k (on my server) for it since it seem to be the average price for crafted purple
Sold that one for 10k about a week ago, but I'd say epics lose their value very quickly as time goes on.
Yeah that cape is actually pretty terrible as Hyjal rep is probably the easiest rep to get and that cloak is way better, but you might have been able to get more for it depending on your server. Epics are dropping fast on some of the bigger servers though so it might have been a good idea just to get some value out of it now rather than having it sit and sit.
Green quality gems need to completely sell out more often, what the fuck, they normally sell for 25G~
Might have been the jc daily for that day. I know Zephryites jump up to 80g sometimes on kj, and nightstones hit about 70 on that jc daily.
If it is, it's not consistent across playerbase, mine was Elemental Goo =/ The AH was just out of any that weren't severely (190G each lol) overpriced, so I stuck them up for that much just to try, and they sold within 7 minutes.
Holy shit, JC daily on Arthas doesn't even really raise the price unless the price went to the floor for some reason.
Blizzard auto locked my account and sent me an email, apparently it was hacked by some chinese, anyway I rolled it back just to fuck the guy (I don't play), found 10k gold on a random char with maybe 10k more in mats. Oh and he got me 8 levels on my main. Good boy
Yeah I made like 8k gold across all my chars when I got hacked. Wasnt even playing anymore when it happened. Put that gold to good use in cata haha
When the daily is for Nightstones, I make a ton of money. The other ones, not so much. That daily happens to fuel my enchanting profits though with all the gems I get from prospecting and then turn into enchanting mats.
You turn your non-daily gems into DE materials? Interesting. Non-daily uncommon gems have finally hit a point to where its worth vendoring them over selling them on my server, maybe I'll try that out.
Edit: I also noticed that transmuting into Inferno Rubies might be worth doing. Heartblossom at 15g each + carnelian at 9g each would mean 72g per transmute. Brilliant Inferno Rubies sell for 130-140g on Arthas so it definitely seems worth doing.
Ember Topaz on the other hand seems to make a profit but barely current prices would mean 42g per gem and Potent Ember Topaz tend to hover around 65g.
