Recently, I have been having issues with my standard fonts in Word and Open Office(but not Firefox or anything else). When I type something, it will come out normally but when I save it and close it, they change to other things. Basically it will get rid of anything next to a quotation mark and replace it with either a Japanese character, a space or a question mark.

I can't seem to find a way to reset my fonts to default other than using an install disk, which I have no idea the whereabouts of. I searched for a program that would have it, but they seem to cost money or don't work for me. Any other ideas/programs I missed?
