- Make macro setup menu accessible while you have inventory load up concurrently, otherwise how the fuck am I suppose to remember all the names of items..wtf.
- Change the mother fucking targeting circle to something fucking larger, of a different color, and maybe a color that doesn't fucking match the glaring sun or golden sands of ul'dah, fucking dipshits.
- How about letting me send a fucking /tell to my linkshell mates when I load up the god damn list.
- Can I fucking run while browsing bazaar please? Cuz you know, people won't fucking stand there for you to finishing browsing all their wares.
- Large Map markers, mini map markers that work similar to how leve mobs are shown on that map, when party member are out of range, just show an arrow indicating general direction.
- Increase inventory to 200 please, wtf.
- Can I trade more than 4 fucking items at a time? Especially when the game is centered around fucking crafting, and each craft needs tons of items from other crafts....Jesus SE wtf were you thinking?
- How about consolidate the god damn menus? Remember how in FFXI when you check a person you see their: level, linkshell, bazaar, and even fucking comment? Wow, you can see so many with just one fucking click........... Why not keep that shit you ass fucking wipes?
- Hey, I got an idea, when I click on a piece of armor slot in the inventory menu, why not just scroll directly to it so it doesn't take me 5 seconds to fucking find it? Ever tried fucking unequiping 4 same fucking rings? HUH HUH??
- HOW BOUT YOU FUCKING RELEASE THE REAL GAME INSTEAD OF CONTINUING TO MAKE US PLAY BETA? WTF is this shit?
^ u forget about bazaaring for repairs: u need to also bazaar the repair mats because the game can't just use up shit in Ur inventory when a nice crafter decides to repair ur shit. So u have to make it so the person can buy the mat and make the repair fee cost enough to cover the mats the crafter just bought. Not to mention u better hope some jackass doesn't just buy the repair mat out of Ur bazaar to be funny
Hey cool. Level 1 Weaver leave sends me to Camp Broken Water in Southern Thanalan... -_-
Nice rage. 9/10, could use more fucking.
I think the real release will be in March when PS3 goes live. For now everyone playing is just payroll for the FFXIV squad to start fixing everything that sucks. I have a feeling drastic changes will be made/started when half of the CE crowd quits after 30 days are up.
In before SE defense force arrives, but seriously though, pretty much agree with everything. It'll be interesting to see how much more intense the feedback gets with the rest of the population starting the game. I really hope SE has a fire lit under their ass because there's so much shit wrong with the game right now, it truly still feels like beta.
OK, can I please be able to EXP with a group of people, and actually GET the skills I collected during battle. It's not a very subtle glitch to find SE, get this shit fixed.
The worst part about exping with a group of people is that it's pointless. You can do it better solo, so what's the point?
No fan boy can justify how much shit is currently wrong with this game.
As it currently stands, the only "good" of this game is it's looks. Everything else is just down right retarded.
Ex:
- No inventory sort
- Can't see PT on map
- Can't reply to tells through a simple command
- Can't use <pos> or anything
- Targeting system is crap
- Bazaar system is crap
- No proper economy will ever be established
- Repair system is crap
- Volume in the game is fucked, (no way to turn down weather or footsteps)
- Lots of bugs (shit like sometimes your tools don't load when crafting)
- The leveling system is crap, random skill-ups is stupid.
- Anima recovery time is complete bullshit
- Guildleve recovery time is bullshit
- Mobs difficulty doesn't make scene
- No methods of faster travel
- Crafting system is to complex (not syth, just items required to make simple shit)
- Crafts that require lv11 to make, require lvl20+ mats
- Inventory way WAY WAY >>WAY<< to small
- Way to many useless/1 purpose items in the game, (ex: Bamboo)
- Menu Lag is brutal
- For how much shit things take only be able to trade 4 items at a time is insain
- No mailbox
- No Auction House
- NPC item costs for some items makes no sense
- NPC Buy vs Sell is insane
- Everything requires too much confirmation
- Lack of mobs
Also there is nothing to actually do in the game other then craft or 8 guildleve's every 36 hours.
I guess you're correct that it's more efficient to solo, but I hate solo grinding with a passion, it's just so fucking boring. Party mechanics bring forth a lot of fun, especially when things like hate need to be managed. I really don't see how I'm gonna solo up 50 levels, in a fucking MMO.
Some of that is good criticism, some is just stupid. Makes it harder to focus on what really needs to be fixed when you have complaints about anima and guildleve timers.
I love partying. But it's just painful right now. Some of it- maybe all of it- is due to the playerbases' lack of experience and the low levels involved. But it feels like there's more that's wrong. I'm not a programmer or even usually a video game (let alone MMO) guy, so I'm not sure if I could even identify it. But the skill ups are part of the problem, I think.
A lot of people seem to be complaining about menu lag as an issue SE need to fix. I'm getting hardly any menu lag. I was initially but I turned down my graphic settings in ffxiv config (not by a great deal just slightly) and the menu lag virtually completely disappeared so the issue with menu lag (at least for me) seems more of a client issue than a server issue
The only menu lag I run into is when I'm selling a bunch of shit to an NPC and there's more than a couple people around.
Yeah i am fairly sure the lag people are getting is because they are running on settings too high for what their computer can handle. I can complete 2 Synthesis before a friend even completes one because he complains of synth lag. The only differences we have are computer differences
I hate how on one drop down hill you can slide down perfectly, but one that looks exactally the same (lol SE using same textures etc etc) you can't drop down. My character will be getting shat on by dragons, other scary looking shit, i am sure a 1 foot dropp is not gonna kill it.
I wish pretty much every drop that was less than 8ft or so was downward-traversable, much like XI. I don't care that much about going around cliffs to get up, but not being able to drop down any stupid little ledge is frustrating.
Oh look, anima is gone... time to create another character.
For real though, get rid of the anima system and just use fucking a small amount of gil to teleport around.
