Random complaint about leve rewards; Gil. Why it's always have to be gil for me, never marks, very rarely any equipment, sometimes those radiant bla bla's which are rather useless for me, other than that it's always, ALWAYS gil, I mean, I don't need gil at all, I already have two million gils from crafting and next to nothing to spend it on. Stupid gil rewards are just growing so boring on me. I bet I'm going to rip my ears off from pure excitement when I see something like guild marks pop up as a leve reward. Also, got first faction over 100 credits today and whoopie-fookin'-do; 1 leve available with reward of 14,336 GIL, I mean what the fuck.. yea sure I'm going to use 100 faction credits that took a week of doing 8 leves after every reset to get on shit like that. MEH.

faction leves are like BCNMs, the real reward comes from a chest that pops at the end, which can contain various things including equipment such as the other pieces of the Onion set. the gil listed is just what you're guaranteed to get.

The thing is though, that the chest isn't a 100% pop. I've done about 3 faction leves of my friends and the chest has never popped, so I wouldn't count on that. So I'd like to be guaranteed to get at least something other than just a low amount of gil before wasting my credits. There are some pretty nice rewards that can pop as the listed, guaranteed rewards as well.

The level 20 levequest from Gridania "Wanted: Rorogun the Tailtamer" also drops some of the onion items, vintage shield and leather vest. I am not sure this is a faction one either, at least according to ZAM's database. But it may be, I would be interested in clarification.

Did a faction leve today on 1 star, the one at bloodshore. Got 3k gil from chest and that was it. Way easy but a waste of time. I just spent 100 credits for... 3k gil? Better luck next week I guess.

Also did a 5 person party today killing IT stuff. SP gain was great for melees, but mp ran out so fast it could never be possible(unless the mage had syphon mp?). Really don't see where they're going with partying yet, it just doesn't seem possible with the limited mp regen abilites(most of which thm gets). However, getting 300-500 SP a kill was great. If you could make it happen, ranking up wouldn't be bad at all except for the random no SP gain bug that hit me a few times.

Did the faction leve "Wanted: Rorogun the Tailtamer" in Grid. Pwned it with 8 people on 2 stars. A chest poped. We got an Onion Doublet, but... it went to a random guy in my PT instead of me. He says he didn't open the chest, and my inventory wasn't full. This is BS.

Are any of the faction leves soloable on one star? I really don't like partying in general in this game and much prefer leveling / leves solo.

The anima regeneration rate is downright awful and saying otherwise is a demonstration of sheer masochism, there is no debating this.

What makes it even worse is the "last Aetheryte you touch = home point" bullshit. Since FFXIV really loves confirmation boxes, why not add one to them?
During regional guildleves your HP could be temporarily set to the camp to avoid instant fail in case you die.

It would be extremely simple to implement and would instatly make the game much more enjoyable.
We had Instant Warp, Outpost teleports and a set Home point in FFXI from the start, plus every self-respecting player had BLM17 and WHM36~42 for Warp/Teleports at the very least. There is nothing like this in FFXIV right now.

This complaint is going to happen frequently so get used to it, we went from a game that had zero traveling problems (name me a FFXI location that can't be reached in 5-10 minutes if you have access to all the kind of teleports) to one that either forces you not to move out of your starting town or waste 2-3 hours during a normal playing session for traveling alone.

The game has become totally unplayable for me since yesterday. i am playing on Cornelia, in town the game is running "ok"..i can craft, everything takes a bit longer than usually but i can deal with it, as soon i try to do levequests (Camp Bloodshore in Limsa Lominsa) the game becomes totally unplayable, I can barely attack, sometimes nothing happens at all, no matter how often i try to attack or cast a spell. It takes about 10 seconds to cast a spell, sometimes monsters do not attack at all, sometimes they hit me 5-6 times in a row and i have no chance to fight back. I have a huge delay on all my actions, monsters appear very late, it takes about 10 seconds before i even see them. My ingame connection is green. The problems started yesterday, before that it was fine. I dont get it, i have no idea what I can do. This is so frustrating, i really want to like the game but its absolutely unplayable. I was disconnected in 3 of my last 5 leves, and the time ran out in the other 2 because everything takes 3-4 times as long and i just die because my character does nothing at all.

Is no one else experiencing these problems?

Yep, I'm getting fucking terrible server lag on Figaro and the interface lag is just fucking pathetic. My frusturating continues to mount with this game. At this point I won't be renewing my subscription unless they release a miracle patch soon.

Or maybe in the worst case it'll be like XI "one more month then I will quit, I swear!" for years after another.

Gives me a headache just thinking about it..

Few days ago my friend did a GM call because his retainer stopped working after a server crash, I think the GM responded like 5 hours after the call was made.
