The lag was so terrible last night on Cornelia that it took me 5 minutes of standing still to recover 300 health.
New thing I want to complain about. Being close to level 20 crafter and repeatedly getting rank 1-5 leves. What the fuck SE? Cut that shit out. Also have yet to see a single guild mark reward from any crafting leves. Stupid rewards from leves, IE: Iron Ingot from level 1 leve, Copper ingot from a level 20 leve. What the fuck? I'm tempted to do the level 1 leve just for the ingots but I'd only get like 50 skill per synth.
This whole leve system is a huge clusterfuck.
I wish there was more.
I think I'll just cancel now. I'm just tired of SE in general.
From my experience, the bonus materials rewarded are more difficult to find items and useful for higher-ranked recipes than the default reward (e.g. Beehive Chips from a Rank-1 Alchemist leve when they are for a Rank-10 recipe). I'm not really making comments on the higher-ranking leves that are probably reasonably difficult to complete. Though I don't actually believe it would be hard to get 70+ appraisal when you're 5 ranks over the recipe. Carry on.
To be fair I didn't think you were talking about 70ish appraisal. 5 ranks over should be doable at that point, I don't think it would be an easy task to accomplish at 20 though. That said, I still take the level 20 leves just because the skill is great, I think it's silly they give rewards like copper ingots though. I have so many copper ingots I can't even get rid of them. I don't care what kind of reward they put on level 1 leves though, there's absolutely 0 reason to do them as a higher level crafter and I don't know why they take up potential leve slots. It should have been organized similarly to how battlecraft leves are. You pick the level range/camp and off you go.
Another example of trying to reinvent the wheel, when the wheel has in fact stayed the same because wheels don't roll properly when designed as squares or triangles.
Another example of the wheel not rolling properly the moment it is out of the design table. Unacceptable.
No, just no. That doesn't fly this time.
It always flies, especially in this case.
Although this is a minor gripe either way, just grab leves for some other craft instead.
Wheel don't fly, they roll. Wtf guys.

Also. random complaints directed at this board
Alpha: It's just an alpha, of course the game is not complete
Beta1&2: It's just a beta, of course the game is not complete
Open Beta: It's just an open beta, of course the game is not complete
Official release: The game was just released, of course it's not complete
So, in before, "the game was only released 1 year ago, of course it feel empty".
[edit2]
Combat systems aside, alpha was probably the best beta so far. Infinite teleport, rewarding guildleve, no fatigue, fast leveling (on certain class at least)
Yeh! People are way too harsh! I bet every time Ford design a new car it takes them a good few tries to design wheels that roll!
No, wait, they learn from past experience that wheels should indeed be round.
Edit: wow, car design is actually quite a good way to show how companies normally build on the last model and improve rather then missing out all the basics. Could this be an analogy the SE defence force can actually understand?!
kinda irritated that my Miner is that much harder to grind than OB... 100 exp per successful extract? wtffff
5 star leves at Camp Drybone. Party of six. Half the party get no xp because of the bug. The squishier people get killed three times as often because enmity systems are borked and provoke works maybe 25% of the time due to lag. And then everybody dies because, while the mobs aren't actually hitting all that hard, it takes upwards of 10 seconds to get off a 2 second cast time Cure and they're hit 2-3 times because mobs don't lag and we do.
All in all, not a very successful evening. In 3 hours of play, I got half a level in leves. Party play is simply not worth it. Yet solo grinding is boring and incredibly random. I should NOT be getting less skill for defeating Tough mobs than I do for defeating Easy Prey mobs. It's ludicrous!
Haha, analogies.Edit: wow, car design is actually quite a good way to show how companies normally build on the last model and improve rather then missing out all the basics. Could this be an analogy the SE defence force can actually understand?!
Are you talking about a car that has received constant updates, revisions and fixes in the last 8 years that essentially make it 5 times as good as it was when it came out of the factory? I've never heard of a car like that.
Either way, I'd like to hear how you 'build on the last model' when said model (and all the other models from different companies) are 5+ years ahead in development.
The answer: You don't. The new model is always inferior to the old one no matter how you slice it because you don't magically create the game 5 times faster than before. It's the same with any new MMO in existence.
Maybe you might be able to understand this. Probably not.
