I've been playing it every day since CE day one. Every day since day one the game's gotten less enjoyable. Hope kept me continuing on. More and more I'm coming to realize their isn't going to be a miracle patch. It's starting to set in that this game will most likely never be what we'd like it to, ultimately never having the list of needed fixes made.

Eh, I honestly dont mind the game, been playing off and on since prestart. I'm having some fun, just grinding away on certain things. There is a lot that annoys the piss out of me, but no more so then any other MMO on market.

The crafting scene isn't all too unbearable now. It's still pathetic since we don't have an AH or some form of in-game ingredient search or something but at least finding materials is somewhat easier now with people leveling up.

I did however give up leveling my Gladiator and only using my Conjurer for duo'ing because of the annoying RNG leveling system.

SE remaining silent on a lot of issues is giving me a bad vibe. It is not a question of IF they will fix it but more of WHEN.

^This. This is the reason why my doubts are starting to really set in. The list of flaws is adding up more and more every day. With no fixes coming from A/CB/OB testing feedback paired with their silence, I will be canceling this month.

Probably my own damn fault but I'll rant anyways...
I really appreciate crafting items only to throw them away because my inv was at 77/80 when I started.
Didn't even get a warning like.. "Attention dear player, you are about the drop valuable crafted goods in favor of a dodo feather +1, clear your fucking inventory. Thanks"

I know they removed the ability to side-step some moves, like Opo-opos' and Marmots' kicks, but I have side-stepped some Dodos' Belches, Puks' backflip move, and now it's even easier to get away from Funguars' Queasy Cloud. Lag and being stuck in an attack animation both have a big part to play in avoiding shit, unfortunately.

^ This is all true. I was annoyed when they dropped the opo-opo dodge, because that move comes out every 5 seconds, and it seriously hurts as a mage. It's almost as bad as the does having a WS for both front and back; both of which horribly rape.

Mob AI is retarded in the game. Oh...I'm below 50%? I'll WS every other attack. Oh...I'm below 25? I'll WS 90% of the time. Every mob is the same. No thought or effort was put into it.

I finally ground out level 20 today. I'm done with grinding in this game until they add fun content. I'm just going to do my leves and faction leves and make sure my bazaar is stocked.

I am having the most fun just playing the market in the game. Finding out what sector of the market isn't being served and gouging to high heavens. It's very fun to do this in a new economy. Take away that and I would probably not log in except to do leves.

It's really crazy that S-E seems to be clueless on how to do ANYTHING properly when they've made FFXI into a perfectly good game over the years. They can't even get the common sense stuff right.
"Oh hey Bob, people are complaining that there is nothing to the crafting system and that you're just supposed to hit rapid every time."
"Damn, well, just lower the success rate of rapid synthesis and add in an epic fail. That should fix it. Nah we don't need to test it at all. We're still in post-launch beta."
    Really, S-E?

This, and I raise you retarded enimty to the point where party play is impossible without taunt or provoke for 1 star 30 leves. We tested it, one cure at half health of a mob results in instant hate. Even a buff like stoneskin pulls hate at half health. The best was when a weakened lancer popped speed surge and got killed for it(he was just standing next to the mob, not fighting), even though the mob was almost dead. Mobs popping in groups of 2, then having two groups on top of each other is getting old, along with mobs running back to their spawns and regening to 100% so you have to fight 4 mobs at once.

Fixed an issue where the character limit for Lodestone blog posts was 20 characters less than intended.
Fixed an issue where "Anima" was regenerating.

/edit: I just started working on that parser, stuff might be wrong here and there. Especially when we had to run and didn't actually kill the mob we started attacking.

I'm curious what your weapon/damage may have looked like... I feel like there might be too many variables at play in affecting skill point gains.

He's probably spamming spirit dart? I think the complaint is that you have to be a useless dick to get good skill in a party as a Conjurer, because healing gives you jack shit.
