Why do my crafting guild marks have to be so stupidly rare? I have been doing rank 20/25 leves for awhile now (and recently 30), and I have only gotten marks as a reward once... ever. At this rate, I won't be able to afford a manual until I get the marks from the rank 30 quest.

Fuck this crafting shit. 100% fails? Fuck you. I fail so many synths and so many goddamn fucking leves at 100% because the last synth I did at 92% only gave me 6% and knocked off a ton of durability..EVEN WHEN I FUCKING SUCCEED.

Do a synth w/o any failures up to 80% then fail once and watch the synth lose 50% durability in one hit? Fuck off

Lose almost the same durability when fucking succeeding on a standard synth as you do for failing? Really? come the fuck on

Same here. I've probably done about 25-30 GSM leves of rank 20, 25 and 30 since I last saw marks. And that was only like 650.

Just got killed by a Wight and lost the Leve I was doing because half way through the fight it decided to take a step backwards and recover half its health. Somebody tell me this glitch has at least been mentioned by the dev team somewhere? This is not the first time its happened to me but usually I'm able to recover okay.

It's always been a problem, especially with bandits/skellies and mobs that "run away" when hit with weaponskills. They didn't give a shit about the problem through all of beta so I assume they don't give a shit now. They have bigger problems to worry about now.

from what I can tell, the running away to regen thing only happens if you fight a mob outside a certain distance from its spawn point. hence why that shit always happens to me with Opos and Dodos.

Abuse that shit, easy way to get 500 skill points on 1 mob, then run to where you need to and kill, I far from complain when that shit happens to me lol.

I fucking hate how some plain undyed none coloured versions of gear still require some kind of shitty coloured cloth/leather/strap, I don't want pretty colours I just want the fucking stats I want to be plain fuck your shitty pink or blue crap, give me white any day.

No gear damage, level 15 synths and I'm lvl 19, master's support, start synth with standard and BAM! fail and elemental is destabilized. 7 waits later it calms down, goes to white orb, I use standard synth and BAM! same again. I try the synth again and fly through it, do it a third time and whee, more fun with elements going out of control right from the start. I just don't get it at all.

Where are you looking to determine the level of the synth? Places like yg are completely unreliable for that. Also, I find it's usually better to just craft through unstable elements, rather than wait them out. Never go on red or, imo, yellow though.

Disagree with this. I'm almost entirely sure that lower or no support isn't ever better, regardless of recipe. I also suspect higher is always better, but I've tested it on a too small scale to draw any strong conclusions.

I have yet to notice any effect from support outside of recipes that suggest it (then again, I'm in no way the most experienced crafter). I'm certain it has some effect outside of than that, but it's probably minuscule and with the whole "scaling" effect of theme this game has, it's still debatable what level of support is "best" for what until it's straightened out by an 'Ask the Devs!' article. I've just seen a number of reports about higher level support being worse than the suggest level of support. We're still working with ridiculously small sample sizes with absolutely no control going on.

It doesn't raise your skill (it has been tested), literally gives you access to facilities you might need for complex synths, i.e. a forge for melting metals in blacksmith case, why should you need said forge when crafting a fish hook?

Here's one: if Aegis Boon can't work main handed, why even have that option? Maybe it will become clearer with dual wield or something, but I think otherwise abilities should automatically just equip to how you can use it. I know it's a scheduled fix but seriously: I can equip Aegis Boon on my action bar, but then can't use it. Very annoying.

I agree with the whole, "Don't use support for synths that don't need it." Having crafted enough with and without support (on the same subject), I can say my success is about the same no matter what. Crafting cloth with master or guild support doesn't help me more.

This crap about not getting "too much support" is really BS. You know the game warns you when you don't have enough support right? Yet it doesn't warn you when you get support on a synth that doesn't request it, or when you get too much. Furthermore, It provides an immeasurable difference, if any at all, in the success rate of synths.

I think Occam's Razor applies here. You have the highest success rate when your actual support level is greater than or equal to the requested support rate.
